Chapter 19 Bobbi Herschfelt was used to getting by with little sleep, so it was no surprise that she was awake at four thirty this morning. She got dressed and made a banana smoothie before leaving her house for the hospital at seven o’clock. With traffic, she got to the parking garage by seven thirty. She stopped by the hospital cafeteria to grab a coffee and was in her office waiting for Paula by seven forty-five. She logged onto her computer and checked emails. Ten minutes later, Paula knocked on her door. “How was your night?” Bobbi asked as Paula closed the door behind her. “Very busy, as usual. I barely had time to finish my work.
