Word spread quickly throughout the hospital that Marchman had been arrested and charged with the murder of Dr. Joe Connolly. The SICU nurses were particularly interested in the details, although not much more was known at the time.
Bobbi received a text from the CEO informing her of the situation. “IT Director Andrew Marchman terminated, effective immediately. Charged with murder of Dr. Joe Connolly. Interim Director is Tom Gallicki.” Stunned for a moment, it was a relief that she would no longer have to deal with him and his threats to her nurses. She fired off an email, forwarded from the administration, warning the staff not to discuss it.
