Chapter 21 Bobbi was on her way to a meeting when her phone buzzed in her pocket. She didn’t recognize the name on the caller ID, but the number looked familiar. “Good morning. How may I help you?” she said. “This is Evelyn Beardsley in the ethics department. I need to clarify a few things regarding an email we received from you, supposedly in response to an email from our department. There are two issues of concern, including the subject matter of the email.” “What is the other issue?” Bobbi replied in a curt, business-like tone. “The other is actually a more serious concern, that being the origination of the email. Our department did not send it to you.” “What do you mean, you never sent it? It’s dated and clearly states the sender as the ethics department,” Bobbi answered bluntly.
