Chapter 5 Bobbi Herschfelt had just poured herself a glass of Pinot Grigio after showering. She stared at the glass, her mind blank. It was nine in the evening, and she was exhausted after a fourteen-hour day at work. Today was Monday, and the week had not started out so well. As director over two critical care units and a stepdown unit, her days were full of stress from the time she arrived at the hospital until she went to sleep at night.
