Chapter 6 Without any hard evidence, Allison didn’t know what her options were. If she reported what she knew, what good would it do now? After all, Mr. Wetherly was dead. Who would really care, and what would they do? Her stomach was in one giant knot, and she wished she had brought her Prilosec with her. After she took report, she worked quietly to get through her shift, glad for once to have a patient who was in isolation so she could just be by herself. She didn’t feel like talking to anyone.
