Paula Fisher liked working nights. She reminisced about her first week at Orlando Memorial three years ago. She was forty and, after having been a travel nurse for the past ten years, decided to settle down and take a full-time position. With her years of critical care experience, she was hired immediately.
Soon after Paula started in SICU, the director of critical care resigned. The position was posted by Human Resources for two weeks, with the intention of accepting applications from outside the hospital as well as within.
