Chapter 4: The Full Moon

The next few days were a whirlwind of emotions for Emma. She spent hours talking to Alex and Liam, learning about their lives, their transformations, and the constant threat of rogue werewolves. Her feelings for both of them grew, creating a confusing and intense emotional storm.

One evening, as the full moon rose, Alex and Liam took Emma to a clearing deep in the forest. The air was thick with anticipation, the light of the moon casting an eerie glow.

"We wanted you to see this," Alex said softly. "To understand what we are."

Emma watched in awe as the transformation began. Alex and Liam’s bodies contorted and shifted, their human forms giving way to powerful, lupine shapes. The change was both beautiful and terrifying, a testament to the dual nature of their existence.

As the werewolves stood before her, Emma felt a strange mix of fear and fascination. These were the same boys she had come to care for, but now they were something more, something wild and untamed.

Suddenly, a howl echoed through the trees, followed by the appearance of several rogue werewolves. Their eyes gleamed with malice as they advanced on the trio.

Alex and Liam sprang into action, their powerful forms clashing with the rogues in a brutal battle. Emma’s heart raced as she watched, her fear for them mingling with a fierce determination not to be a helpless bystander.

When one of the rogues lunged at Alex, Emma grabbed a fallen branch and swung it with all her might, hitting the rogue squarely on the head. The creature stumbled, and Alex quickly finished it off.

The battle was over as quickly as it had begun, the rogues retreating into the night. Alex and Liam, now back in their human forms, looked at Emma with a mix of gratitude and respect.

"You were amazing," Alex said, his voice filled with admiration.

"You saved me," Emma replied, her heart still pounding.

"We’re stronger together," Liam said, his gaze intense. "And we’ll need that strength for what’s to come."
