“This is so precious!” Shawn said with smiles all over his face as he had his eyes glued to the screen. One would think this was his first time seeing his child.
With his eyes still on the screen of the monitor, he brought my hand up to his lips and kissed the back of my palm.
My smile got bigger.
“Your precious one has definitely grown since the last appointment.” Dr. Bea smiled, then continued with her talk, pointing at specific areas on the monitor.
“Now let’s hear the heart beat.” She said, and almost immediately, the most beautiful sound ever came through.
