“kiss my neck, bite me, pull my hair, trace my spine, hold me down.”

The warm orange tones from the sunrise had painted the heaven, a slight breeze had the leaves rustling on the trees. Silence. If she opened the windows, a happy sound of birds chirping would fill the air around her. But alas she didn't. She barely even noticed the world around her, the images from yesterday were dancing in her mind, sucking her in and making her forget about everything around her.
She could still feel his touch on her, those magic fingers that knew exactly what they were doing. Unfortunately for her, he had disappeared as quickly as he had been there. She didn't get a name, a number, barely heard him speak. She knew nothing about him, but she wanted to. Oh how she wanted to.
Quinn barged into Ivy's room pulling her away from her daydream. Her cheeks were flushed red, a little embarrassed as if she had just been caught m**********g. Quinn's eyes inspected her bestfriend, something was different she just couldn't point out what, so she let it go for now.
“You left me yesterday,” Quinn scolded and hit Ivy with a pillow that she had grabbed from her bed. Ivy c****d a brow at her bestfriend, took the pillow out of her hands and hit her back.
“You left me too!” She protested, “For Ryan!” This time Quinn flushed red, her eyes flicked over to a spot behind Ivy's head, not wanting to look her in the eyes. Ivy was happy that the conversation wasn't about her, she wanted to keep what happened yesterday for herself, just a little bit longer.
“What happened between the two of you?” Ivy's brows danced, her lips pulled into a smirk. Quinn's face just got more red, soon she would look just like a tomato, but she still didn't say anything. “Come on girl, give me the deets!”
“Nothing exactly, we just danced,” Quinn mumbled as she played with her hands, a thing she always did when she was nervous, “and kissed.”
“You did what?” Ivy cheered, jumping up from the bed to hug Quinn tightly. Her little girl was almost grown up. Quinn's face had turned even redder than the tomato down in the fridge, Ivy couldn't help but tease her a little. Isn't that what bestfriends was for?
“Don't think I forgot miss, who was the guy?” Quinn changed the question, wanting to avoid further embarrassing question relating to her and Ryan.
“Not sure to be honest, he never told me his name.” Ivy answered with a shrug, she too wanted to avoid questions but Quinn wasn't going to let her. She wanted deets.
“Do you think you'd be able to recognize him?”
Oh yeah, she would definitely be able to recognize the guy who blew her mind and left her body wanted more.
“I'm not sure, it was pretty dark and we were drunk,” Ivy answered with a shrug, hoping that Quinn wouldn't be able to see straight through the lie she had just flung out.
Though she really wanted to see the guy again, she was afraid. She didn't know what off. There's was just a feeling in her body, she couldn't describe it. Her whole tensed when she thought of meeting him again, and not in a good way.
“Aw shucks!” Quinn complained with a whine in her voice, “I had hoped we could find a picture from the club, and ask the boys if they knew who he was.”
“Let's look through them anyway, maybe I'll remember something,” Ivy offered as consolation. Quinns face brightened up by the words and Ivy couldn't stop the smile that appeared on her lips. She looked like a kid who had just been told, that she could go get a ice cream. “But, afterwards we're talking about you and Ryan missy.”
Quinn rolled her eyes, she wasn't going to answer her – maybe Ivy would forget about it when they first started looking for her mysterious guy. So she got her MacBook from her own room and sat down on the floor, besides Ivory who had made herself comfortable down there in the few minutes Quinn was gone. She liked sitting on the floor for some reason, and she was slowly getting Quinn to like it too.
“Okay so here's some pictures from the club that Daniel took,” Quinn scrolled through them slowly, letting Ivy get a good look of all of them.
Daniel was a good photographer, they had to admit that. He knew the right angles to capture everything just perfect, and the way he used the lights. Ivy made a mental note to remember to praise him for his work.
She had almost given up in trying to find him, not that she was really trying in the first place. She was admiring Daniels work more than she tried to find the mystery guy.
Her breath got caught in her throat when she saw the familiar locks that she had been pulling the night before. His face wasn't visible, the picture was taken from behind him trying to capture a couple dancing, he just so happened to have been in the frame of it.
“That's him, the mysterious guy.” Ivy pointed at him, Quinn zoomed in and groaned in annoyance.
“You can't even see his face. There's no more pictures left, so that wasn't that big of a help.” Quinn closed her computer and threw it away from her, onto the bed.
It might not have helped Quinn, but now Ivy knew a little bit of how the boy looked. His hair had a beautiful brown color, that might be lighter in reality if you think about how dark the club was. It was long and puffy, curls surrounding the ends of it. She remember how soft it had felt when she tugged on it.
“Earth to Ivory, are you there? Helloooo?” Quinn was waving her hand in front of Ivy's face, in a hope of getting her attention. She shook her head, the thoughts of the mystery boy finally leaving her mind.
“Yeah yeah I'm here, what?”
“I asked if you wanted to help me make food for the boys, they would probably need it.” Ivy laughed but still agreed to help her. She knew that she could never do enough to thank them for taking her in after she had lost her parents.
“I'm ready to burn down the kitchen.”

The boys were quietly eating the breakfast that Ivy and Quinn had spent some time making. Eggs, bacon, blueberry pancakes, chocolate pancakes and some toasted toast. Ivy was definitely not a good cook, Quinn had been guiding her through most of it. She was lucky to have a bestfriend – no, sister – like Quinn.
“So, who was the boy you were with yesterday Ivy?” Alex mumbled through all the food in his mouth. Ivy cringed at the sight, she hated when people talked with food in their mouth.
She had completely missed the hard looks every other boy had sent Alex, making him shrink in his chair with a loud gulp.
“Forget him. What about Ryan and Q?” Daniel asked with a teasing tone. Quinns face instantly turned red while Ryan just rolled his eyes at the question.
“What about it?” He shot back with a raised brow. Ivy studied Ryans face while he stared down Daniel. His tone said he wasn't pleased with the question but his face showed something else.
His cheeks were light pink, you wouldn't even notice it if you weren't looking for it – which Ivy was. The was a glint in his eyes she only saw when he looked at Quinn, she knew it all too well. Quinn had the same look in her eyes whenever she looked at Ryan.
They were in love with each other; just afraid to admit it. Afraid to get heartbroken.
“Leave them alone Dan,” Ivy interrupted the discussion that had started while she sat in her own little word. Dans grey eyes flicked over to meet hers and for a second she wanted to shrink, but she shook the thought away and stared at Dan with a bored look in her eyes.
“Why are you sticking your nose in this?”
“Why are you sticking your nose in their business?” Ivy shot back resulting in a glare from Dan before he huffed and walked out of the kitchen. Someone clearly had had a bad morning.
“We cooked, you guys are cleaning.” Quinn said in a hope of changing the conversation. The boys immediately starting complaining about how their head hurt, and how bad they felt, “Shouldn't have been drinking so much then.”
“Suck it up idiots, it's just cleaning.” Jacob scolded with a light tone which got the remaining five to quiet up. It was funny how Jacob was the 3rd youngest but he still had some authority over everyone, even Ryan who's the Bosses right hand.
Quinn and Ivy rinsed off our plates before putting them on the counter, leaving the boys to clean the mess they had made. They quickly disappeared out of the kitchen before the boys noticed it, grinning at each other.
Ivy stopped in front of Daniel's door, something inside of her told her she needed to talk with him. Cleanse the air. She hated when people were mad at her. She hadn't even needed to say anything to Quinn, she understood it.
Knocking on the door, she quietly opened it when he yelled to come in. The room was completely dark, she had to squint to see where Daniel was. He was curled up in his bed, phone in his hand but it wasn't on. In front of her was a broken man.
“Are you okay?” Ivy closed the door behind her and slowly inched towards the bed. She sat down on the floor, keeping her eyes on the guy in front of her.
“I'm fine,” he replied with a heavy sigh. She lifted her arm and lowered it onto the bed, letting her fingers get tangled up in his messy hair. He hummed quietly as approval.
“Are you sure? You kinda flipped out,” she murmured, careful not to say anything that would make him blow up again. A heavy sigh slipped from his lips once again.
“Sorry about that, I don't know what happened,” he whispered, voice so low that Ivy could barely hear it, “I just had a bad night. Barely got any sleep.”
It broke her heart. She knew why he didn't get any sleep, sadly. But she didn't mention it, knowing it was better to not say anything right now.
“I can stay,” she offered with a small smile, though he couldn't see it, “for as long as you want.”
“Please,” he whispered.
She settled against the wall, leaning her head against the cold surface, her hand still playing with Daniel's hair as she softly hummed an all too familiar tune.
“Amazing grace, how sweet the sounds.”
