DIOR’S POINT OF VIEW

A/N: This happens after President Smith told Treasure about the revision of the report.

“So we need to revise the report again.” I said to my teammates and then let out a heavy sigh. They just looked at me full of disappointment and frustration.

“I’m sorry guys this is all my fault.” I said but they immediately counteract what I just said.

“No sir this is no one’s fault. If there is someone we should blame it is the president all alone.” One of my subordinates told me which made me somehow smile.

“Thank you. By the way, I will just call Ms. Miller to ask her our plan.” I said and they all just nod at me. I immediately head back to my block while dialing her phone number but I already called her a lot of times including her office’s telephone but she is not picking up.

“Ahm, I will just head to the secretary’s office because she is not picking up my calls I’ll be back immediately.” I said and run my way to Treasure’s office. As I head in front of her office I knocked a few times at her door but she’s not answering so I immediately opened the door and head inside. My knees automatically felt weak as I saw her body laying on the floor, unconscious. As I recover from the shock on seeing her unconscious body laying on the floor, I immediately picked her up and bring her to the clinic.

“Geez! What happened to you Treasure?!” I asked her even though she can’t obviously hear me and answer me.

“Excuse me, excuse me!” I said while I am running as fast as I can because I don’t want to drop Treasure’s body on the ground. As I reached the clinic I immediately lay her on the bed and the nurse immediately checked her vitals.

“What happened to her Sir?” The nurse asked me after checking her vitals.

“I don’t know nurse, I just found her laying on the floor,” I said

“Can you tell me where do you think she fell from?” He asked me and then try to reminisce the incident earlier.

“It looks like that she fell from the chair,” I said

“Thanks to you and you immediately found her if you didn’t find her immediately then she might lost her life at such young age.” The nurse said while putting oxygen mask on Treasure.

“Huh? Why nurse?” I asked him and I just followed him while he is walking back to his seat.

“Well, she has this condition called ‘arrhythmia’ and looked at her face there are traces of dried tears on her face. She is also holding an inhaler on her right hand.” He said so I immediately checked her right hand and saw that she’s holding an inhaler which I didn’t notice earlier. I also looked at her face and he is right there are traces of dried tears on her face but how did he immediately knew her condition?

“And now you are wondering how the hell did I know about her condition?” He asked me and then stands up from his chair and then heads to Treasure’s bed to get her inhaler.

“It’s because of the inhaler she is holding. This is an inhaler for those people who are suffering severely from arrhythmia. My guess is that she’s experiencing both the extreme fast beating of the heart which we called ‘Tachycardia’ as well as the extreme slow beating of the heart which we called ‘Bradycardia’.” He said and then head back to his seat as if he didn’t say anything so serious.

“Wait, so how is her condition right now?” I asked him and then sit in front of his table.

“Well, as I saw at her vitals. Her condition is not quite stable at this moment because it looks like she knew her condition a long time ago and it looks like she truly lacks medical attention which causes her condition to worsen.” He said nonchalantly while telling those nerve-wracking facts about Treasure. I didn’t knew that her condition is as worst as this. After talking with Mr. Nurse I decided to stay here for a while and look over Treasure until I received a message from the president telling me to come to his office.

“Nurse I need to go President Smith told me to come to his office. Please take care of Ms. Miller.” I said and then he just nods at me. While on my way to the president’s office I am thinking about any possibilities that will cause Treasure to collapsed like that because of crying so hard. I was on deep thought and I didn’t notice that I am already in front of the president’s office. Before knocking on his door, I lightly slapped my face to bring me back to reality because I am still into Treasure’s condition right now. When I am sure that I am good to go, I knocked at the door first before opening it.

“Good afternoon President Smith.” I greeted him as I saw him sitting on his chair.

“I heard that Ms. Miller collapsed inside her office is that true?” He asked me

“Yes President Smith, that is true.” I said and he just nods at me while searching for something under his table.

“Here, since you and Ms. Miller are you so closely with each other I am giving you this task, don’t worry it is not as hard as you think.” He said and then gave me two folders full of papers.

“Yes President Smith. Is there anything?” I asked him

“Nothing the deadline would be tomorrow morning. You can leave now.” He said so I just nod at him and then leave his office. Geez! Even though it is only two folders it is still so heavy! As I reached our department the look on my subordinates clearly asking me ‘what is it this time?’

“Sir Dior what’s that?” One of my subordinates named Vincent asked me.

“Ah it was a tasked given only to me by the president. So don’t worry and just care about the revising of our report okay?” I said and he just nods at me before heading back to his block. I immediately started working on this task because the deadline is just tomorrow and if I slack off I won’t reach that deadline. While I am working I didn’t know that hours have passed and it’s already time to go home but I only finished the first folder.

“Ah! I’m so tired!” I said to myself while massaging the temple of my head.

“Sir Dior we are already leaving. By the way, we left snacks outside for you, just eat it if you are hungry.” Vincent said so I just nod at him while smiling.

“Thank you so much and take care on your way home okay?” I said and he just nods at me before leaving. After resting for a few minutes I decided to head back on working and hours have passed again and I am finally done! Before packing all my things, I decided to stay here for a while because I don’t want to drive when my head feels so heavy. I head outside my block to go and get some snacks while holding my phone. As I open my phone I saw a lot of missed calls and it all came from Treasure, so I immediately called her and it took a lot of rings before she answered.

“Hello?” She said and based on her voice it sounds like she just woke up. Geez! It looks like I interrupted her sleep.

“Hey Treasure sorry if I woke you up but how are you feeling?” I asked her while smiling.

“No, no, no you didn’t wake me up but I am feeling well now. By the way, thank you for rescuing me.” She said which made me smile even more because of her cuteness.

“Nah! No worries thank goodness I saw you inside your office. By the way what truly happened earlier at your office?” I asked her while picking from a bunch of chips in front of me and I noticed that it went quiet all of a sudden on the other line which made me think that she falls asleep again but then she started to speak again and that put me at ease.

“I am going to tell you tomorrow.” She said

“Okay, then see you tomorrow. Rest well.” I said and then ended the call. After calling her and finishing a bag of chips I decided to go home because it is already late and I am the only one here inside our department. After locking our office, I head to the parking lot and drive my way home.

The next day…

TREASURE’S POINT OF VIEW

“Good morning Ms. Miller I just want to remind you about the lunch meeting tomorrow.” Mr. Brown told me over the phone.

“No worries Sir, it is already written in our schedule so rest assured that we will be there.” I said while smiling even though he can’t see me. I read in an article that if you are speaking while you are smiling your happiness can be heard even though you are not talking face to face.

“Thank you so much Ms. Miller.” He said which made me smiled even more.

“The pleasure is mine Mr. Brown.” I said and then ended the call. After that, I started to make a schedule reminder on the desktop to send it to President Smith. After doing the schedule I immediately sent it to President Smith.

“Ah! What a light day!” I said while stretching my upper body. A few minutes after sending the schedule to President Smith I received a response from him so I immediately opened it.

“You will come with me tomorrow, prepare yourself.” He said in the message he sent me and that immediately sent an immense nervousness all throughout my body.

“Geez! I am still not ready to face a client! But I guess that will be an experience for me.” I said and then type my message to President Smith.

“Yes President Smith. Send!” I said while typing on the desktop. After a few minutes, it’s already lunchtime so I immediately head outside while dialing Dior’s number.

“Hey, Dior! Want to eat lunch together?” I asked him as he answered my call.

“Look behind you.” He said so I immediately turn around and saw him standing there. I immediately ended the call and run towards him.

“Hey! What are you doing here?” I asked him as I reached where he’s standing and then we started walking together.

“I just passed the paper works to President Smith he have given me yesterday.” He said while smiling.

“Oh. So we can eat lunch now?” I asked him and he just nods at me while smiling. While on our way to the cafeteria he asked me about what happened yesterday.

“Well it was because of the president. I passed the revised version of our reports yesterday and then after he checked all the papers he threw it and then he shouted at me while telling some hurtful words.” I said while smiling as if I was telling a good story.

“Whoa! And I bet that he is the reason why you cried so hard yesterday and causes you to collapsed?” He asked me so I just nod at him and just thinking about what happened made my heart tighten a little.

“But I am fine now. I already forgive the president for that even though he hasn’t tell sorry.” I said

“What do you want to eat?” He asked me and I didn’t notice that we are already here in the cafeteria.

“Just the old order.” I said and then he just smiled at me before falling in line and like usual I searched a table for us. While waiting for him I saw Mr. Joey walking around the cafeteria and it looks like that he’s also looking for a vacant table and since the table that I found is big for the two of us I decided to call him.

“Mr. Joey!” I called him while waving my hand at him and he immediately found me.

“Hi Ms. Miller!” He said and then greeted me with a kiss on my cheeks.

“Hey Mr. Joey, it looks like that you are looking for a vacant table you can sit here with us.” I said but he just shakes his head.

“Nah, I am already done eating I am just looking for you because I want to check if you are doing good.” He said and then sits in front of me.

“Yeah I am fine now and it’s all thanks to you guys.” I said while looking at him and then looked at Dior behind him.

“Oh, Dior you’re already here.” Mr. Joey said while smiling.

“Yeah.” He said and then put down the tray on our table and then we started eating. While having our lunch we are planning about our report and how we will make it beyond perfect.

“We still have two weeks to revise the report.” I said before eating.

“Yeah and I guess we can make it if we will plan this thoroughly.” Dior said so I just nod at him and then took another bite.

“Okay so here’s the plan. Since I won’t be here tomorrow you and the rest of the departments’ heads together with your subordinates can lay out your own plan and the next day we will have a meeting in the morning to lay another plan based from the plans and strategies you will get from your subordinates.” I said after wiping my mouth.

“Where will you go tomorrow?” Dior asked me after drinking water.

“I will go with the president tomorrow at his lunch meeting, so if we will hold a meeting tomorrow morning we will surely lack on time.” I said so they just nod at me and then after that we head back to our own offices or more like Mr. Joey head back to their department’s office because Dior will take me to my office like usual.

“Treasure can I ask you something?” He said while we are inside the elevator.

“Hmm, what is it?” I asked him and then looked at him.

“What kind of guy is your type?” He asked me and then looked straight into my eyes which made me nervous all of a sudden.

“Ahm, I don’t prefer anything at a man. I just want someone who can make me smile and love me more than the way I love them.” I said and then smiled at him.

“Treasure. Can I ask you another question?” He said but this time he’s looking straightly to the elevator’s door.

“Hmm what is it this time?” I asked him and then he looked straightly into my eyes and this time his looks were so serious.

“Can I woo you?” He asked me which causes me to lose my hearing because this time all I can hear was the loud beating of my heart.

“I like you Treasure, I truly do. I will ask you once again can I woo you?” He said and it made my heart beats faster and faster. Dior likes me?
