Chapter 13- Training Arc?

It was shocking.

To know that...”I’m beautiful.” I said it aloud.

Rom's face was in disgust and Rem sounded like she was vomiting. And, I heard someone fall from outside.

“What's with you two!?”

“You needed the mirror just for that? In the first place, all you needed to do was to ask and we will answer you truthfully.” Rem said.

I don't trust your words.

“Shut up. Beside on checking how beautiful I was. I need to know something.”

“What?” said Rom with his face still in disgust.

That I'm not the woman they expected to be.

That's right…for some reason, I'm using this body and the Witch that Rom stated in his story is not me. As far as I noticed, this is not the World I belong…more like I transferred to another world.

In Rom's story I noticed some flaws therefore I have to find out the truth.

“Rom, before you said that I cursed myself but why in your story mentioned that the High being cursed me?”

“The story that you just heard is what the people knows and what the High being wanted the people to know.”

“That's mean…”

“Yes, the story is fabricated by the High Beings.”

“But, why will they do that?”

“You went crazy and they wanted to take credit that they're the Hero that saves the people in your rampage. Seriously, you don’t remember any of it?”

“Beside that, you surpassed the 12 High Beings. They were scared to be replaced by a mere human.

“By the way, how do you know these things?”

“Thanks to Great Grandpa's Book!” Rom handed the book to me.

“We already finished reading that so, now it’s yours.” I got worried. They should not give me this…this belong to their Grandfather and this something precious to them.

I tried to give it back but they refused, “Great Grandpa wanted you to have it.” said Rom.

“Make sure to take care of it! It’s full of information about the world and how to fight!” Rem.

“Read and learned it. That’s will be the first thing you will do for now. You never know when will the High Beings arrived.”Rom.

“And this time, you will defeat them.” Rem

“We will go home now. Take care!” Then they left. Leaving me all alone.

What should I do? I can’t tell them that I’m not that Witch. They wouldn’t believe me. All they will think about is I’m lying and wants to get away from them. They think highly of me.

Urgh! I can’t help myself but to face-palmed.

“Phew! I thought they were not going to leave.” Calcifer appeared out of the window.

“I thought you left.”

“I’m won't leave you. I will stay by your side.” he's dazzling.

“Eh? What?” He's going too fast and we just met!

“I will train you day and night until you are equal to the High Beings!” oh…so that's what he meant but! Training?!

“I…! I don't want to train. Can you just find another replacement?” Why me? I just transferred here and I don't know anything in this world!

“No, it must be you.” Why does he keep on insisting?! If I tell him the truth, would he change his mind?

“But, I'm not–“

“The owner of the body.” Before I could tell him the truth, he cut me off. So, he knows. “That’s the reason you needed to train.”

“I refused.”

“What?”

“I refused!” I said it again. “Why would I follow you? I have given a second chance in life why would I waste it to save the world?”

“You!” a intense aura was coming out of him.

“I gave you that life and you refused to follow me?” he's mad… his brows was centimeters away and his face is red from anger

“Then, take it back.” he's angrier than before.

“You insolent brat, is this how you repay me?”

“Saving the world is too much for me, if this life is the payment then I don't want to.” I've been wishing to transferred to another in my past life and now, I got it. But, I didn't wished to be a hero that saved the world. I can't do it.

He is still glaring at me and then, he breath in and out.

“Fine, do what you want. Don't come at me and telling me you regret your decision.” Then, he vanished.

Is my decision, right? Even if I trained, I know…I can't save this world because I'm not that Witch and besides, who want a Witch who have a bad record of being crazy. I'm sure the 12 High Beings can do it, saving the world, because as Rom said, the 12 High Being is as strong as the Witch.

Then, that decided! It looks like Calcifer doesn't plan to end me so, what should I do now?

Should I leave this place and explore this world? Yeah, I should do that. Hmm…how about Rom and Rem? Well, I’m sure that their parents will be sad if I let them come with me so, I will just leave them behind.

So, when should I leave? After I recovered, maybe.

I can't wait to go on an adventure! I should see a map to know the geography of this world.

I can't still believe it! That I transferred to another world. It feels like a dream!

Should I write a diary and write my experiences in this world?

But, this world is ending? Oh well, I’m sure the 12 High Beings already taken care of it.

First, I have to rest.

Rem's POV.

“Rom?”

“What is it?”

We are here in Winch's Forest and we are heading home.

“Why did you gave the book to the Witch?” I asked, it was Great Grandpa's book and it was meant for the descendants who will take the role of Witch's servant.

“I don't know.”

“What kind of answer is that?” I laughed, it's rare for him to make a decision without thinking of the consequences.

“The first time I held the book, I felt that it wasn't meant for me.” I puzzled.

“I also felt that but shouldn’t the book be ours cause it was titled as ‘All about the world and how to take care the Queen'.”

Great Grandpa called the Witch as his Queen even though the Witch is not actually a Royal. He was his world and he's very loyal to the point he made a book and his descendants as a servant while the Witch is asleep until she wakes up.

“The Book has been reacting to her since she wakes up.”Rom.

“If that’s the case, then it is right that we gave it to her.”

“I hope so. That book is not just a simple book, there’s something hidden within it.”

“And what is that?”

“I don’t know but I think the Witch is the only one who can do it.”

“Hmm…” The Witch is really loved by Great Grandpa even though he’s dead, he left something to help her.

“By the way, I don’t think the Witch have manners.”Rem.

“Why did you say so?”

“She didn’t offer us to eat!”

Rom sighed, “Rem, all you think about is food.”

“Everyone knows it’s a common courtesy to invite someone to eat with them.”

“Shut up, Rem.”

“No, I will not! We should teach the Witch some common manners!”

“Rem…quiet. We will be home soon.”
