Prologue
Warm, wet teeth grazed against the delicate skin of my neck making me shiver in every place imaginable. I wanted this, now more than ever. I needed this, to move on.
"Xavier.," I whispered in his ear as he began planting small kisses down my neckline, onto my collarbone. He continued to do so as I closed my eyes and laid my head back against the wooden wall in the living room, in my tiny home, that felt nothing like a home to me anymore.
"Xavier...?" I asked softly.
"Yes, my love." He stopped kissing me and slowly raised his head, making his eyes level with mine. His emerald green eyes sparkled slightly with the reflection of the candle lights. He gave me a feeling of warmth, even though his body was functioning without the rush of warm blood flowing through his veins to pump his heart.
I could feel my own human heart beating faster inside my chest, well his barely moved at all. But, I knew that even if Xavier didn't have a beating heart, he knew how to love better then anyone.
I looked into his eyes, a small tear escaping mine.
"Im ready."
