When we got back home we went straight to our room. I wasn’t used to being in my wolf form yet. After running around the forest I felt as though my whole body was consumed by a dull ache. It would probably be gone by the morning though.
“You should lay down and have a rest.” Grayson said, noticing how stiff I was as I sat down on the edge of the bed.
“I would like to take a bath.” I said.
I remembered how enticing that bath looked this morning. It was exactly what I needed right now to ease my aching muscles. I hadn’t had time to check the bathroom cupboards, maybe there were some nice smelling oils or something I could use in there.
