I could tell that Grayson was tense as soon as he came back to the table. Now, I know I am not good at reading people. I spent years thinking that Grayson hated me when he was madly in love with me. So if I can read someone then you know they are not being subtle about it.
I tried my best not to let it bother me because I was sure that was why they weren’t talking to me about their concerns. It was difficult, it was constantly in the back of my mind and I had to work to keep it from spilling over and out of my mouth.
