An ear-piercing screech rang in her ears. A multitude of scents slammed into her senses and made her head throb.
Yusria frowned and slowly opened her eyes.
A dark...tomb.
'Ah! I'm in the Ancient Tomb. Julian and the others must've carried me.'
She curiously looked around, her act like that of a newborn seeing the world for the first time. And it might as well have been. Even in the dark, Yusria could see with sharp clarity. 'Did my wolf awaken?' She reached into her mind, the way the teachers at school had taught, and tried to call out to the other entity that should be residing in her mind with her.
However...she sensed no other presence.
