Her prayers are answered when she finds a second chance at love with Hawk, a powerful werewolf who helps her heal and rebuild. Together, they prepare for a brighter future, even as shadows from the past loom.

Freya, another key member of the pack, also navigates the complexities of love and loyalty, finding solace and purpose in motherhood. Her strength and resilience inspire the pack as they face their greatest adversities.

The Beginning (Or End)
Sarah was a plain-looking werewolf, her unassuming appearance mirrored in the simplicity of her name. She was a thin, almost emaciated figure with mousy red hair that fell in lifeless strands around her gaunt face. Sarah had no memory of where she came from or who her parents were; her life had always been defined by her role as a servant in the Red Moon Pack house. From a young age, she had known nothing but hardship and servitude. The pack members treated her with disdain, relegating her to a life of eating scraps left over from their dinners and sleeping in a dusty, dimly lit attic. She was too weak and too battered to shift into her werewolf form, a fact that only fueled the pack's cruelty towards her. Among her tormentors, Vanessa, the Alpha’s sister, was the worst. Vanessa was everything Sarah was not: tall, with long, luxurious brown hair and a curvaceous figure that made all the unmated wolves in the pack swoon. She wielded her beauty and status like weapons, ensuring that Sarah’s life remained a constant nightmare. One evening, as Sarah scrubbed the kitchen floor, lost in the repetitive motion that kept her from thinking too much about her miserable existence, she was abruptly jolted from her thoughts by Vanessa’s piercing voice. “What do you think you’re doing?” Vanessa barked, her voice dripping with contempt. Sarah looked up, her eyes wide with fear. “I’m cleaning, as you requested,” she replied, her voice trembling. Vanessa's eyes narrowed, and without warning, her claws elongated. She grabbed a handful of Sarah’s messy hair, yanking her upright. “This is not where I said to clean, b***h!” she snarled, slamming Sarah’s head against the wall with a sickening thud. The pain was excruciating, but Sarah knew better than to cry out. She felt the warm trickle of blood running down her face as she recited a familiar mantra in her mind: “Don’t do it, Sarah. Don’t do it. Stay awake.” But despite her efforts, the world around her began to fade, and darkness enveloped her. When Sarah awoke, she found herself back in the attic, her head throbbing and her vision blurred. She gingerly touched the gash on her forehead, wincing at the pain. The attic was cold and dimly lit, the only light coming from a small, grimy window high above her. She dragged herself to a corner where she kept a tattered blanket and curled up, trying to find some semblance of warmth and comfort. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Sarah’s life continued in its monotonous cycle of abuse and neglect. She clung to the hope that someday, something or someone would rescue her from this hell. But as time passed, even that hope began to wane. One night, as she lay on the attic floor, staring up at the ceiling, she heard a commotion outside. Curious, she crept to the window and peered out. In the courtyard below, a group of unfamiliar werewolves had gathered. They were speaking in hushed tones, their faces grave. Sarah’s heart raced as she realized something was amiss. The next morning, the atmosphere in the pack house was tense. Whispers of an impending attack by a rival pack spread like wildfire. Sarah listened intently as the pack members discussed their plans to defend their territory. She knew this was her chance—her only chance—to escape. As the pack prepared for the battle, Sarah slipped away unnoticed. She navigated the familiar hallways with ease, avoiding the areas where the pack members were congregated. Her heart pounded in her chest as she reached the back door. She took a deep breath and pushed it open, stepping out into the cool night air.
