Leaving for academy

1010 Words
We were in alpha Brendon’s Mercedes with me and Eric in the back, while dad and alpha Brendon were in the front, though It was only yesterday that Cynthia hit me all my bruises were completely healed because of Luna, she is descended from a line of witches so she can use spells, she is trained in healing magic. She had been with me the whole day to make sure I healed properly before it was time to go to the academy. She is a beautiful woman with kindest smile I have seen she sometimes remind me of my mother with the grace that she walks the way she rules the pack almost everything about her reminds me of my mom, it was also because they have similar built. Cynthias mother and father had come to our house and apologized about her daughter. Her mother was crying softly, she looked like she was still in shock. It made me almost guilty for exposing her. But I was done taking s**t from her, it was my parting gift for her. Not that she was any guilty even after they caught her, she had started her fake crying and even fainted apparently according to ruth. She had apologized to alpha and luna but they were not going to forgive her. They were even going to remove her from the pack, but I told them to let her stay and to just punish her accordingly. It will be more humiliating to her, and more satisfying to me as alpha will strip her of her powers as alpha and will make her an omega. It will only mean that her title will be omega will her powers are still the same. She would be the lowly omega she had bullied. It would be a fitting punishment for her. She had become a bit arrogant because of her power. Now she will not have the very power she has been so proud of. Out of the four of us dad was the one who was most excited. I can smell his excitement. It filled the car with a sweet and giddy smell. Looking out of the car at the snowy mountains, then looking back at me with his eyes filled with awe, he was like a child; it was his first time seeing the snow. “Anaya, look, it's snowing.” he said with barely contained excitement. As soon as we entered Etheria, even alpha and eric looked awed. Tears pricked my eyes as I saw snow falling. I grew up in the snowy region with my mother and father. I was five years old when I last saw snow. It feels good, like home. As I leaned back against the car's soft leather seat, I felt the same sense of wonder and awe wash over me. I watched as the breathtaking landscape of snow-covered mountains unfold before me, each peak seemingly vying for my attention with their stunning grandeur. The sun had just risen, casting a warm, golden light over the mountains, making the snow glimmer like diamonds. I couldn't help but be entranced by the beauty of the scene before me. The snow-covered mountains stood tall and proud, towering over, making me feel right at home. The landscape was both tranquil and majestic, creating a sense of peace and serenity within me. I missed it watching the snowflakes fall on the ground. The car snaked its way up the winding mountain road, passing through thick forests of pine trees that hugged the mountain's slopes. The evergreens were covered in a thick layer of snow, their branches drooping under the weight. The occasional flash of a red cardinal darting through the trees provided a pop of color in the otherwise monochromatic winter landscape. As I looked out of the window, I couldn't help but marvel at the way the landscape changed with every mile they covered. The snow-covered trees gradually gave way to open vistas of vast, pristine valleys, and snow-capped mountains stretching as far as the eye could see. I breathed in the crisp mountain air and felt a sense of freedom wash over me. It was as if I was on top of the world, my problems left far behind as I journeyed through this winter wonderland. Maybe coming to the academy wasn’t as bad as I thought. What I am most worried about now is how Dad will survive without me. He may be an old person, but he has absolutely no idea how everything works. without me, he would not be able to find a thing in the house. He is a man-child. How will he be able to live through the four years that I am gone? What if he burns the house down? I guess he will just have to live with Martha and frank. I arranged everything in the house for him and wrote where everything was in order in the diary so that he would know. But what if he lost the diary? Martha is there so she will be able to help him. I had already told her to check on him every day. He cannot be trusted alone. If he gets too lonely, he will get drunk and will not eat for days. Even with all of these, he has been the best dad for me. He has learned to cook for me. He only knows how to cook five things, but he made sure I was never hungry, never alone. He would only drink when I was staying at Ruth's house. I can see from here that he was worried but was putting on a smile. He does that to not make me worry about him. Now that I think about it, he must be sad that I am leaving. He has never allowed me anywhere to go alone, even when I went to the club where every teenager from our pack was going, he would follow behind thinking that I didn't know he was there. Now I will be gone for years.
