As the stranger approaches Eve hops out of the river and is prepared to fight if need be though they don’t smell familiar they also don’t smell like a rogue which could be even more dangerous.

When suddenly my thoughts are interrupted by the beast jumping out of the woods and landing only feet’s in front of me. It’s a gray wolf about as big as me which means they could be an Alpha with violet eyes. We stare at each other for a moment trying to figure each other out when he shifts back into human form. “Since I can’t mind link with you it might be better to talk this way”

this handsomely tall man with dark blackish brown hair and deep blue eyes says while obviously being n***d and probably has no idea I’m a girl which shouldn’t really matter since wolf see each other a lot n***d but it can still be awkward.

I nod and then shift back as I watch his eyes grow from shock and mouth gap abit. I figured he would react that way cause 1. I’m a girl with a big Alpha wolf and 2. Which is more obvious is the ears and tail. “Uh hi” I say awkwardly while I try to cover up some using my tail for the bottom half and hands for the top since I’ve never been big on being n***d except when I’m running free at my grandparents.

He chuckles at my awkwardness and then says “I’m sorry for staring it’s just..” he trails off then gestures at me “you weren’t what I was expecting” that comment kinda pissed me off “why?! Cause I’m a women??” He seemed surprised by my anger “no! More the ears and tail then anything” he says nervously which makes me feel bad for thinking badly of him since I know I’d be shocked to by the situation.

“Oh” I say looking down “I’m Alpha Apollo” he says sticking his hand out to shake “and you are?” I look at his hand then at him “Astra” I shake his hand and smile “are you here to see Alpha Bane?” He nods his head “yes I’m here to talk about what been going on lately” he says with a serious face which scares me as my nightmare flashes in my mind, Apollo looks at my face concerned as he sees the fear develop on my face.

“Are you alright?” He asks putting a hand on my shoulder which brings me back out of my mind “yea I’m fine” I say as I touch my head “just a small headache” I says faking a small smile “we should probably head back then so you can lay down” I nod at him and we shift, going our separate ways.

I wonder what he was even doing in the woods if he was to meet Alpha Bane? Eve purrs “I hope our mate looks something like that” I roll my eyes at this hopeful, horny dog “like someone like that would want us” my words hurt her abit but she knows how I feel about mates and all so she leaves it at that.

I make it back home and nobody is there which is how it usually is since dad is most likely apart of whatever meeting is going on and mom is probably helping one way or another and then Even is most likely at the pack house with his friends, he’s always been the social butterfly and I would have been too if people excepted me but that’s clearly not the case since Taylor is my only friend here.

I used to be bullied a lot for how I look by the other kids and even the adults till I had enough and started retaliating. Not in a fighting why but In a “I’m not gonna let you decide if I’m worth something or not” kinda way, I mean a few times I did get into fights which I never started but I sure did finish them so people started to just plain out ignore and avoid me at all coats, except Vanessa who for some reason just Has to get under my skin. Eve thinks she’s jealous but I really am not sure.

I lay down in my bed and read a book about a human girl going into a mystical world and end up falling asleep.

“I’m running in the woods again but this time I’m in wolf form and I’m running away from what’s going on as I sense someone or something is chasing me and catching up quick when I feel its claws wrap around my ankle and pull.”

I sit up instantly with sweat dripping down my brow “what’s going on?” I think to myself “I’m not so sure but I don’t like how real it all feels” Eve whines.

I get up and hop in the shower to wash off the sweat and clear my mind then I put on a gray loose fitting shirt and some blank Nike short then head downstairs to make myself dinner since I’m pretty sure my family will eat at the pack house as it’s already 6:00pm. I’m used to this by now whenever I come back but it’s still lonely nevertheless.

I turn on some music and start cooking some eggs and making toast for an egg sandwich then pull some salad out to go with it and some apple juice.

I eat in the living room so I can watch tv since I’m the only one here. I turn on the tv and Golden Girls is on so I just leave it there for now.

Once I’m done I wash the dishes and usually I just go back to sleep but I can’t now so I go and sit on the porch to watch the stars wondering how Papa and Gree are when I hear a voice call out my name, I look to see who it is and it’s my dad with Alpha Apollo.

“Hey pumpkin! What are you doing sitting on the porch?” I look at dad then to Apollo then back to him “what are You doing bringing an Alpha home??” They both laughed and my dad explained “I needed some papers for the meeting and he tagged along cause he wanted to look around” I nodded in understanding when Apollo spoke up “Are you his daughter? Then why didn’t you eat with us?” Awkward silence fell until dad cleared his throat “well she’s not very social or gets along with the Alphas daughter so...” he trailed off as Apollo turned and looked at me with sympathy “well I’m sure it dreadfully boring just sitting here so why don’t you come walk with us?” He suggested with a smile that kinda shocked my dad which then confusion settled in “hey..” he started “why aren’t you shocked by how she looks or anything” my dad asked with a brow arched “cause we ran into each other during my run” I tell my dad honestly which surprises him that we met already “oh! I see” and with that he heads inside to look for the papers leaving me with Apollo just now realizing how I look which at first bothers me but then I remember he’s already seen me n***d which amuses Eve. “So I’m guessing you’re already 18 since you can shift” “17 actually” I say with my chin held high “I could turn since I was 5 really but” I shrug “it’s whatever” I say nonchalantly till I look at him with yet again shocked eyes and mouth gapped which makes me laugh very hard “you’re pulling my leg aren’t you?!” He’s irritated “no, no I swear it’s the truth” I reassure him as I wipe a tear away “it’s just you had that look on your face again” I giggle which makes him smirk “oh yea? Prove it to me” he challenged with his arms across his chest.

I shrug and text Gree to send me a baby pup pics which she sent a few very quickly and I showed him pointing “that’s Eve as a pup and that’s her chasing rabbits and there we are playing in mud” I say with his wide eyes in wonder “wow... you’re really special” he says in awe “I’m just like my great grandfather” I say “I’m sure you must have heard of him at least once, he was the first and I’m the second” he listens intensely like a child “what was his name?” “Albert Alonso” as that name left my mouth his face changed to something unreadable but before I could say anything my dad walks back out “found them! Sorry it took a moment Alpha Apollo” I turn to look back at Apollo but he has a smile on now “it’s alright Beta Alonso, your daughter here was telling me about herself and such” “well we should head back then. Shall we?” Apollo motions for us to follow “can I go inside and change very quickly?” I ask which he gives a nod of approval.

I run upstairs quickly and put on a b*a then change into a maroon t shirt and black skinny jeans with rips then I slip on my converse and run back outside “sorry I took a minute” Apollo looks me up and down and nods in approval “it’s quite alright since we were talking business.”

We start walking through town and everyone is watching. I hate being the center of attention and start to regret coming with when I’m pulled from my thoughts by Apollo “you said you’re like your grandfather Albert Alonso, right?” I nod my head “yes sir” “how’s your warrior training going?” He asks which my farther answers “our Alpha doesn’t let women train I’m afraid “ he says which shocks poor Apollo “I swear he’s gonna have a heart attack here” Eve says sarcastically “and why not? Our best warrior in my pack is a women and she can easily take down most men.” He states proudly “I know but he’s abit..” dad trails off “sexiest” I say plainly and my dad shoots me a look “I see” Apollo says “that’s quite a shame since I can clearly sense how strong you are” he says to me “thank you Alpha” I smile.

The rest of our walk was quiet until we reached the pack house and my dad gives me a sympathetic look. I hate this place because of the people who live here except our sweet Luna Rose, the only kind soul in here.

“Ah! You have returned Alpha Apollo!” Alpha Bane bellows out “and you have a tag along” He sneers at me “hello Alpha” I bow my head slightly to keep the peace.

He ignores me which I see that Apollo notice “so I asked Astra and her father about her warrior training yet they say she received none” he comments which shocks me and my dad who then looks at Alpha Bane who looks agitated “I’m sure they told none of the women do, not just her” he points out and Apollo nods “yes and I think you’re wasting Astras gift” silents and shock fills the room “I beg your pardon?” Alpha Bane says as a low growl leaves him “Astra is incredibly gifted and I know you can feel the Alpha energy emitting from her” he gets closer to him and says in a very serious tone “we need that for what’s to come” which makes Bane sigh and rub his temple “let’s talk about this more privately, hm?” Apollo nods and they start heading upstairs but before my dad can follow suit I grab his arm and make him look at me “what are they talking about? What’s coming??” My father just gives me a mixed emotions look and gently grabs my hand “we’ll talk more later ok sweetheart?” And with that he followed them up and left me wondering if my dreams might actually be warnings
