Third Person’s Point of View

There are multiple units of the Vanguard that are currently fighting the specimen that breached their containment units.

Some people still don’t reach the evacuation area, there are multiple people killed during the accident, and those people are very unfortunate that they are killed.

One of the escapees is a red code, land dweller class, TF – 2922 aka the crustacean. It is a crab that grew into a gigantic size, with more tough armor. It uses its pointed feet which stabbed, multiple people. There are so many that have been killed by the creature. Many soldiers sacrificed their lives just to apprehend the heavily armored gigantic creature. Its harder shell, which even rockets cannot penetrate made it more dangerous, despite its size, TF – 2922 is very agile.

The soldiers think that it is still not enough soldiers to handle their situation as the whole country was caught by surprise.

The government of Prism State requested more soldiers that will assist them in battling the monsters which destroys the unit.

“More back up,” Captain Reyes told the radio, and he has new platoon members on his side except for Smith the one who survived the encounter with the Reaper.

The burrower class, TF – 522 aka the Killer Mole which developed a taste for human meat and it grew to a size that is comparable to lions. Its sharp claws and enhanced eyesight paired with its echolocation made it an agile and effective hunter which the soldiers fear now. Also, a red code.

A flying class which is also an orange class was intimidated by the gunshots which made it hostile towards humans. It is TF – 222 aka the pointbreak, a bird which flight speed has been enhanced with upgraded physiology and wings, it’s not a carnivore but its speed and size stabbed soldier.

Even the higher-ups don’t want this to happen, they have no choice but to order their soldiers for the termination of the escaped specimens. Because if they decide to contain every creature that has escaped their containment chambers.

Many information has been sacrificed by killing these creatures. But it is a small sacrifice compared to what’s at stake if this country falls completely into the hands of the monsters that will destroy the world.

Some are already terminated, despite it having a red code on their name, many are easy to kill by guns and other advanced weapons. For example, the burrower class, TF – 111 aka the bees, a carnivorous swarm of bees that stayed small but its swarm turned it into flying piranhas.

But it can be killed by throwing flames at it which easily kills the creature. They can self-replicate which made it risky for the authority to spare even one of its specimens. So, they don’t have any other choice but to completely obliterate the creature.

In every terminated creature that was reported to the monitoring room, they stamped the terminated sign on its papers.

It’s a great loss in terms of research that they have accomplished these past years.

But the harder ones to kill are dangerous enough to obliterate a large number of soldiers. Since the country has been developing prototype weapons to counter such monsters, they don’t have any choice but to use it even its developing process is not even complete.

For example, TF – 2922 aka the crustacean’s strongest asset is its impenetrable shell, researchers have developed a weapon, heavily inspired by nails and hammers, they call it the thunder nail, a rocket that has a sticky and pointed tip. Once it attaches itself to a surface a timer will start to countdown and once the timer reaches zero a huge explosion will come out, which will push itself to make a c***k on its shell. Its equivalent is a ton of force, but researchers are still not sure if this is enough to make a c***k.

A helicopter arrived on the scene which is a backup battalion that carries the thunder nails. It lacks intelligence and does not have any interest in hunting food, just like a normal crab, it was a scavenger and easily frightened, when intimidated it uses its claws to scare the soldiers.

It calms down for a moment and even they try to capture it quietly, it is impossible for them since other red-coded creatures escaped with it, and it’s more hostile to humans. So, they don’t have any choice but to fight back against the creatures, and if not, they will be killed.

The gunshots terrified the other creatures which led it to cause more destruction to the city.

Captain Reyes and his platoon led the charge towards the helicopter, as they are the ones who are tasked to take down the big crustacean, that has an impenetrable shell which made it harder for them. Each one of them grabbed their thunder nails, and its heavyweight made it for them to slow down.

But the giant crustacean’s attention was away from the battalion, so they take their time to aim at the giant creature.

“We have one shot to break its shell, take aim!” he commanded, and all the soldiers while they are protected from the others because the other battalion was tasked to chase other creatures.

They put their knee on the ground as they aim for its carapace.

Its agile movement made it harder for them to decide which is the best time to fire the rockets and they can’t decide for themselves.

“FIRE!” Reyes shouted and all of them pulled the trigger, almost the same time as them. The thunder nails shoot themselves towards the large carapace of the giant crab. Its gigantic size became its downfall and there are a total of 20 missiles that has stuck on its back and all they gotta do now is to wait for another ten seconds before the large fireworks display sets off.

They waited for that timer to set off and the moment of truth is near whether the rocket will destroy its tough shell or not.

Ten seconds have passed and a loud explosion can be heard throughout the battlefield and the others were shaken when they saw the huge bursts of flames in the sky.

The crustacean was thrown off balance because of the metric tons force that has been forced to its back. It successfully created a c***k on its shell, and Reyes’s men celebrated when they saw that. It means that they are successful.

“Men it’s too early,” he said and the cheering became quiet. The giant crab is still standing and it slowly turned around to face them.

Even it does not have eyes that show emotions. Reyes can feel, that the crab is angrily looking at them and it turn on the fight. He considered its speed. Reyes is also a smart person; he calculated the time of its arrival quickly.

There is no time for them to reload, the thunder nails because if they do, they will be crushed under its armored pointed feet.

“MEN RUN!” he shouted as he picks up his thunder nail launcher, and the others did so too. TF – 2922 began running towards them chasing them.

They started to run in panic.

Since he expected them to scatter, he prepared his radio to communicate with the others.

“Find a safe spot,” he said on the radio while running.

He is sure that these soldiers under him, are well-trained and they can work in such dangerous situations.

“For the one who is being chased run as fast as you could and create a distraction for the others,” he added. He has an improvised plan in mind, to bring down this heavily armored crustacean that they are battling.

He turned around and it turns out that he is not the one being chased. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth because he is thankful that he is not the one being chased by the monster.

He finds a spot where he can see the giant crab, and for him to have a better aim at it. He put his one knee down, to stabilize himself from the point of impact while firing the missile.

Since its speed, was remarkable for its size, Reyes and the others had a hard time aiming. He saw that Smith was the one being chased and he threw his thunder nail launcher to increase his speed. He took the route where the buildings have fallen.

He took advantage of his small size to enter such tight corners that will help him to escape a crushing defeat. The crab used its claws to smash the ground which delays its movement furthermore helped the man to create more distance between him and the monster.

Also, the others are in a position to fire the missile. There are others who already fired the ammunition and successfully sticks their missile on its carapace. It exploded which shifted its attention towards the other’s direction.

The other soldiers also fired their missiles which soon exploded after a ten-second delay. Which made TF – 2922 confused on where to face, Reyes is waiting for the last missile to explode and he counted the explosion. When he counted to 11 which is the number of his other men, he fired the missile on the eleventh explosion.

He took advantage of it being thrown off balance. He is aiming for the cracked part of the carapace. The missile sticks on it and he counted to ten waiting for it to explode.

“Boom!” he whispered to himself.

The crab was thrown off balance and he smiled when he saw TF – 2922 was brought down.

“FIRE AT ITS CRACKED SHELL ASAP!” he exclaimed on the radio while he reloaded the thunder nail launcher as fast as he could because it is an opportunity for them to bring down such a dangerous creature. If they brought this down, the tide of war will be turned in their favor.

His soldiers did what he asked.

“Fire,” he whispered on the radio and they pulled the trigger in sync which released 12 missiles towards its c***k shell and they are sure that this time, they can damage its inside which will kill the creature. “Are you okay Smith?” he asked.

He waited.

“Yes sir, I am safe,” he replied and he was relieved to know that.

“Mission Control, TF – 2922 is terminated.”
