Jennifer’s Point of View

We are here with the others, and it turned out that these people are Dr. Sarah’s team that works with her when it comes to studying the creatures, but we are now circling each other especially us four, because of Alexander’s questions.

I also have the same question in mind, so now my ears are all set, and I will just listen to the siblings. They are now facing each other.

Alexander bears the eye of an interrogator right now and I can read his mind right now. As I said, his eyes say it all.

“Sis,” he called and I noticed that his voice became deep and it’s hot, to be honest, and I want him to whisper at me, so do that daddy.

Joke.

Well, in real talk, he is hot and all girls’ desires are in him. Handsome, tall, abs I guess, and his deep voice and which made him sexier for me.

For some reason, I am so confused about myself because I don’t why am I not attracted to him. Well, maybe because we started as friends and for me, I think I will forever view him as my friend... for real and I don’t want to risk everything for my feelings. I have my lessons learned.

I know that admitting my feelings to him will only make this worse. I know, how it feels to lose our friendship over these stupid feelings of mine.

I don’t want to ruin those feelings that I harbored towards him and I won’t allow myself to ruin that for me.

Some things are better left unchecked. It is wrong I know...

I looked at him and I continue to listen to what they are about to say. I am just waiting here patiently on what they are about to say. That’s my only goal right now. To get information and if I am lucky answers that I seek.

“What is that humanoid creature we saw?” he asked.

My eyes widened when he blatantly said that in front of his sister. The others were shocked too, I am sure that they did not expect that to come from him. I know this man, if his mind is set on something he will do anything to achieve it.

What’s more surprising, is Dr. Sarah’s expression changed even just for a little bit. I was more than surprised when I saw that. I thought that her expression was fixed just like that.

If that happened, this discussion is much special than we thought.

I heard her sigh.

I remember that the soldier who intimidated me, say that what we saw there remains a secret. Even my sister died because of that. I don’t want to put my other family in danger. I am scared of the consequences if I break their law.

It’s a whole country against me, just a single and simple woman who wants to explore and learn, and I think that my greed for knowledge is also my downfall.

This series of mishaps happened because of me. What if I tailed her? Will all of this change? But I am certain that no matter what happens, she is there by my side still alive.

That’s the only thing that I am sure of to change.

“No, tell me, sis, I demand to know the truth,” he said frustratedly, and he did not even allow his sister to finish her statement. I can understand his frustration towards his sister because she is keeping too many secrets from him, and on the other hand, I kind of understand that Dr. Sarah is just protecting her little brother.

“Go on tell her,” a man said and we don’t know him. He wears glasses, rounded glasses, and he wears a polo shirt, he is a little bulky but did not have the height to support that. I am taller than him. He is not suffering from dwarfism I know because I have seen too much. I know the difference.

“Are you sure?” another man asked.

“Yes,” the man with the glasses confirmed and if this is a family, I will name that man my cool uncle because he is the only one that can understand how I truly feel in one thing.

I heard Dr. Sarah sigh again, and I got this feeling again that every time I hear that is like a fresh air that flew inside me.

Some sort of an achievement that I heard her sigh.

“We are keeping another class from the public,” she said. I raised one of my eyebrows because I don’t get what she is saying.

What?

“What class?” her colleagues asked and even I am just as confused as them. Then her eyes widened realizing she just said the wrong thing. No worries because we are not here to judge you.

New expression unlocked.

It’s like I am playing a game right now where I guard her to make an expression and every new expression, she makes will give me an achievement. That’s how expressionless and blank the kind of person she is. No wonder she does not have any boyfriend right now. She is beautiful I need to admit that. Also, she has the figure that any man can see will drool over.

Her sexiness is overflowing and I think Jose can’t take it so he stood up and walked out for a moment as he is telling us that he is thirsty and I did not believe that, while we and the others are here talking to each other. Something is confusing to me.

“A color code to be exact,” he said which made everyone take their seats and feel the pressure of the gravity that will almost cripple them on the ground. Jose walked back inside the room and his lips are wet, meaning he took his drink of water.

“What is this secret you are talking about, and something about the color code...” Alexander asked.

“I think you all know,” a man said. A man with a barbaric beard said I think he is Irish. The color of his facial hair is orange.

“Yes, Doctor Sarah here already explained to us what the color code meant,” I told them, as I remember every detail and word that she told me during the tour. They looked at me.

“That’s good,” the man with a thick beard said. “But there are other color codes besides that, something far more sinister, and dangerous than the red coded ones,” he added, I think we know the other one. But I am curious what the other one is.

I know that there are crimson-coded specimens, the ones that could cause mass destruction in places so they are deemed to be confidential since they also hold a lot of information that can help the researchers with their studies.

Because if this is leaked to the public, it will cause mass panic and the authority of the Prism State has so much in their hands that they cannot risk leaking information to the public.

“Ahem,” Dr. Sarah tried to get their attention and she looks shy now. Another new expression unlocked. I will call it, “Uhmm guys, I think I f****d up,” expression.

Well, she already told us the other one which is taboo just like what she told us before showing us the creature that is color-coded crimson.

“I told them about the Crimson specimens,” she said and I observed what will be their reactions and I was not disappointed by their reactions. The man with a thick beard was not that surprised, I think he knows Dr. Sarah very well and he gave her the look, which will I call, “Ahh that’s Sarah, nothing new” look.

“Why?” the woman, whose I forgot the name exclaimed.

“That is not important now,” the man with a thick beard said and his voice became deeper, so his voice became the dominant one in this room.

The others became quiet when we heard him say that.

“With what is happening now, I am sure that this will cause a huge uproar on a global scale,” he told us. Well, yeah, I agree with him, after they resolve this problem, I am sure that the media will not let this pass, because this is a huge scoop, to be honest.

Journalists don’t let such opportunities pass like that without getting caught. That’s their job in the first place.

Spreading information to inform the mass public.

Since the Prism State is one of the worries of humanity, because it contains such dangerous creatures, and for years the government of this place assured the world that there is nothing to worry about because everything is fine.

Now I am sure that there are countless deaths happening above us, a-

I don’t want to think of her anymore because she already passed, and I think I need to let her soul rest.

I really hope that she is in a better place right now and that is my only prayer.

“Have you told them about the Bloody Crimson ones?” he asked Dr. Sarah and that really piqued my attention and I look at straight in the eyes.

“What?” Alexander exclaimed.

Just like me he was more than surprised to hear about that.

“So, there are much more dangerous ones than crimson?” he asked and I can feel his voice trembling.

“I guess,” the man with a thick beard said.

“I guess? I guess?” Alexander exclaimed that question with a tone of disbelief and the tension in the atmosphere is getting stronger, but I can’t do anything but to stare at him. “So, you aren’t sure? I thought all of you here in this place are studying about them,” he added.

“You made your point,” her sister said trying to calm him down. Then he turned his head towards his sister.

“Sis, what am I supposed to know?” he asked her. But Dr. Sarah was stuck there and she can’t answer her brother’s raging voice.

“Those were the ones who possess intelligence,” the man with the thick beard said while he looks on the floor.

We became quiet.
