Riley ”So do your forgive me?” Smiling into my folding arms I opened my eyes. It was still always such a shock to wake up next to him every morning but a good shock. “For what.” My eyes fluttered again as he ran his finger up and down my spine. Drawing lazy patterns on my naked skin as the Sunday morning sunshine filtered through a crack in the curtains. “For not being on time yesterday to pick you up.” His hand stilled and I turned onto my side, the sheets pulled up around my armpits. “Elliot.” I scraped my hands down the stubble on his cheek and jaw. “I told you last night that it’s not a big deal. You don’t need to pick me up every night.” Sure I had been disappointed to not find him at the curb when I walked out but it wasn’t the kind of disappointment that resulted in anger.
