Elliot When my head finally broke the water , it was Riley’s face that I saw first. She was crouching at the edge of the pool, a frown pinching together her eyebrows. Wiping the water from my face with my hand I swam towards her, heaving myself out of the pool without using the ladder. She didn’t say a word just passed the towel she was holding to me. Settling herself on the wet tile without any regard that she was soaking her clothes. “How did you find me?” My voice sounded strange in my ears. Thick with emotion. “You’re not that hard to figure out Elliot.” Casually she slipped her bare feet into the pool, if it wasn’t for the scowl on her face , she could have quite easily have been on holiday. Slowly she moved her legs back forth , staring at them. “You has everyone worried.
