"You want me to join you and your friends for... coffee and tea?" I asked as Lia went through the closet.
She was picking out a clothing piece for her coffee and tea party that was going to be held later in the afternoon.
"No and yes" she replied without even glancing back at me.
"No, in a sense that I wouldn’t necessarily call the attendees later my 'friends'. I have met them just a couple of times this past year or so in social events and such but I'm not close enough with them that I'd consider them 'my friends' or anything of the sort" she explained.
"If anything, we've gotten much closer in such a short amount of time compared to the time I've since been acquainted with them" she added as she glanced back at me with a shrug.
