Only when Faye and Jaxon were gone did Ella feel like she could breathe again. Nerion pulled her into his arms. He felt the hostility in his female anger when they appeared, which only further confirmed his suspension that they had something to do with her wound. He would protect her always,
“It’s okay. I understand.”, Nerion said to her. Ella was grateful. After picking their villa, and spending the day customizing their rooms to their liking, Nerion transferred half of his assets to Ella along with fifty percent of his wealth. He tried to send all of it to her, as was customary of the beast laws. All females, once paired, will accept all the male’s assets and finances. The females, in turn, gave them an allowance , managing their assets how they saw fit. Ella saw it as ridiculous. Men spend their entire life working their asses off to accumulate wealth only for females to take it and only give some back?
Nerion smiled. His female was gentle, kind-hearted, and thoughtful.
“ Nerion, your net worth is over five billion-star coins. Half is way more than enough. I don’t even know what to do with that much money," Ella smiled. It was true. Even back in her past life, her work as a scientist and a part time vet was enough money to where she could live comfortably, but she was never rich.
“Plus, if I take it all, how will you be able to get me gifts?’ she asked him. He nodded in agreement and she was happy he accepted. Suddenly, a knock on the door came.
Nerion, eyebrow raised, wondered who could be. No one knew they lived here. He sensed another S rank male’s energy and opened the door, only to see Blaze, commander of the nation's military, standing there. Ella walked behind Nerion to see who was at the door but his tall frame prevented her from seeing.
“Commander Blaze," Nerion said, greeting him. Blaze’s eyes narrowed.
“Creator Nerion”, Blaze greeted back. She could feel the clashing of both S ranks and the power was almost overwhelming to her.
“My nephew called. Do you have an issue with him?” Blaze demanded to know. Usually, Blaze wouldn't get into the affairs of his nephew, but if he was clashing with an S rank, Blaze had no choice.
“Yes. He hurt someone in my family, and I banned him personally from these villas,” Nerion said. Nerion could feel Ella behind him, and wanted to shield Blaze from her, but Blaze wasn’t an i***t. He could sense Ella. Smell her even. His wolf beast skin, usually dormant unless he needed him, suddenly perked up. This female scent. Who was she ?
'Did he hurt your female?’ Blaze asked. He would deal with his nephew in the worst way if he found out he had hurt a female. Ella felt she had to step in. She didn’t want two S ranks clashing over her situation. She managed to come from behind Nerion’s tall figure.
“Hi. I’m Ella. I can’t give too many details on my situation, but please, make sure your nephew and his female never step here again, please," Ella said, keeping it simple. However, Ella was taken aback. To say this man was handsome was an understatement. He resembled Jaxon, with Jaxon’s red hair, but Blaze’s hair was pulled back into a ponytail. While Jaxon’s eyes were blue, Blaze's eyes, a forest green, reminded her of the trees she passed on her way to work in the middle of spring. Meanwhile, Blaze was equally taking in Ella’s appearance.
The beast inside him wanted to claim her on the spot, and yet he kept that part of him in check. She was, by far, one of the most attractive females she had ever seen. His beast never acted in such a way before. Nerion sensed Blaze’s thoughts and pulled Ella back behind him, partly in jealousy, and partly to protect her in case Blaze’s mental sea came surging forward.
“You heard my female, Blaze," Nerion said and Blaze’s eyes hardened. He wouldn’t press the female for more information.
“Fine, but only if you say yes to the infinity project," Blaze countered. He has been trying to get Nerion to say yes to the project for years. Nerion signed. He wanted to stay away from that project for several reasons, and yet Blaze was bringing it up again. However, for his female…….
“Fine," Nerion said. “Also, I need you to block the identity of my female in Central's system. I believe she may have many enemies, and I don’t want the Beast Net to get wind of her. You will need to block her for Lucian as well, as we are both mated to her. Blaze raised an eyebrow. A female paired with two S rank males? What kind of female was she?
“Will do. I am expecting you in my office in two days," Blaze said. He nodded to Nerion, breathed in Ella’s scent one more time, and then left.
