A Strange New World
It had been a few days since Ella had been reborn from her death. She had been driving home from work when a deer jumped out in front of her. Dodging the deer, she swerved off the road into a lake and drowned. Taking pity on her strong love for animals, the Beast God, a being of immense power that controlled the fates of many universes, resurrected her. He put her in the body of an E rank female who had been murdered by her own family. Putting some of his own energy into her, he knew her knowledge of the previous world adding to her new life in this one, could lead her to become one of his most powerful creations to ever exist.

Host. Wake up, Host.
An annoying high-pitched female voice drummed In Ella’s head.
“What the hell?”. Ella’s eyes were still closed. She was sure what she experienced was a dream as she lay in her soft bed. Wait. Soft bed ? She suddenly sat up and opened her eyes. She was lying in a California king size bed with burgundy colored silk sheets and a massive, thick red and black pattern blanket. The walls of the room were a deep burgundy as well, with black trimming. The room held many things, and Ella felt like she was in one of those castle rooms she usually read about in her fantasy books. She looked down at her body. She was dressed in a white silk gown that felt fantastic on her skin, but only one question remained in her mind.
“Where the hell am I?”
Host. Good Morning.
Ella looked around but saw no one. Could she be going crazy?
You’re not crazy at all. I am your assigned system. You have been chosen by the Beast God to be a part of the beast mate program since you have officially died.
Ella held her head.
“What do you mean I died?”, Ella asked, talking to the invisible voice in her head.
You drowned, host, trying to escape your car, but it took you too long to get out of the water. The beast God took pity on you, and due to your good work in the afterlife with you helping all new souls, he sent some of his energy into you. He allowed you to enter our world instead into the body of an E rank female who had just been killed by her family. This is your new life. I am the system sent by the Beast God to guide you along your journey in this world, and to help you become a top female. I will also explain the rules of the program.
Ella’s head was throbbing. Beast God? Top Female? Program? What was all of this about? Ella's mind was foggy. She couldn’t remember her heavenly life after her death, but she did remember drowning.
“Where am I, system?” Ella asked, looking around.
Host, you are in the domain of the lion realm, home of Lion King Silas. He found you last night after sensing your location and brought you back to his domain to be healed. You were still weak from your body healing its injuries.
Ella was sad. She had been reborn by this beast God, only to end up in the body of a female whose own family killed her. Suddenly, the memories of the hosts' recent few days came to her. Her host was the only one in her family who had been born without a beast. From her host memories, her family was a part of the deer beastmen clan. Her father remarried after the host's mother died. They had Ella’s younger sister, Faye. Her father and step mother, who had always doted on her younger sister, had had enough with the host and watched as Faye stabbed her to death after leaving her locked up in a basement. They then moved her body to the side of the road in Central City, to look like it happened by muggers.
This was all due to the younger sister being jealous of her looks, her brains, and forgiving attitude. Even while her family was abusing her through life, she still smiled at him and her sister with love, because that’s what she promised her own mother she would do before her mother died. To be kind and help others. Her host's name was Ella as well.
“Don’t worry Ella,”Ella told her former self.. I’ll take it from here. You just rest your soul easily now. I have us.
