Then next day which is a Monday evening , Nathan came the girls house to check up on Mimie
DOOR BELL
After awhile the door was opened by Sharon with a suprise look on her face
SHARON
What a suprise Nathan
NATHAN
Hi Sharon. Do you mind if I come in?
SHARON
Of course not please do come in
He got in and made himself comfortable
what do I offer you?
NATHAN
I'm fine I won't be long Sharon. Um...I came here to check up on Mimie
SHARON
Did that bastard send you to do it? (She asked pissed )
NATHAN
What no no I'm doing this for me okay.... The last time she left crying i was worried since I do not have her number, I decided to come by (He hurriedly explained )
SHARON
(She relaxed ) okay then but sorry she doesn't live here anymore she moved out
NATHAN

SHARON
You heard me right. Nathan your friend really did it like he really really did it and I most say bravo to him for a job well done
NATHAN
I myself I'm speechless because Jason has never been a Jerk before. Yes he was a playboy but he always set the record straight before getting on with them girls and the girls knew wasn't looking for something serious. Mimie is the first girl that captured his heart so maybe the rejection really did damage to his heart
SHARON
Now that you explained it, I got the point but still at that he shouldn't have done that. It's like he paid her back as she rejected and hurt him on purpose
NATHAN
Jason still loves Mimie but his ego and the hurt won't let him admit that. He keeps telling me Mimie is dead to him and I should never bring anything concerning her up at home
SHARON
Then he will be happy knowing that she has gone back home
NATHAN
What about her job?
SHARON
She resigned
NATHAN

Nathan Mimie has never been lucky with love. let me tell you a little story okay. .. Mimie first love called Brown dealt with Mimie. Like he hurt her real bad back when we were still in the university. It was so bad that Mimie had to shot down for four years and during those years, she became cold rude and a b***h I'm sorry but that was who she became. When we finally got through to her, we encourage her to give this guy called Carl a chance but he was a cheating bastard but the breakup didn't hurt her that much cuz she had already fallen in love with Jason. She never really loved Carl but she was trying to when Jason came in and stole the spotlight from Carl

SHARON
Yeah it is. when Jason rejected Mimie she didn't make a fuss out of it and decided to stay by his side just as a friend even though she wanted to be more than that but because she always has this selfless love, she forgot about want she wanted. She has always done that for the men she loved but none valued her. Brown came back begging for another chance and our friend Nadia convinced her to give him a chance since Jason doesn't love her that she did but Brown left because Jane came home raving mad after she discovered that Mimie had told Jason she loves him. Brown happened to be here that day so things went down hill.
NATHAN
I do not know what to say like I'm speechless. Is this what she has been going through?
SHARON
Yeah and "more" but I won't tell you about "The more". Nathan? Mimie didn't reject Jason on purpose she was forced to do so
NATHAN
What do you mean by that?
SHARON
When she came back home, someone called threatening to stay away from Jason and if she refuses to do so, she will kill Jason and that said person said she is watching her that's why she did what she did. After enough convincing from me, she decided to come tell Jason everything and that led to all this
NATHAN
So she came over to make up and explain everything?
SHARON
Yea that's why she came over
NATHAN
Damn. So she isn't ever coming back here again?
SHARON
Yes she is never. She said if I need to see her, i can come spend the weekends like we use to do back when we were in our college days
NATHAN
I understand but do tell her I say hi and let her know that I was never in support with Jason's actions
SHARON
Sure I will do that
NATHAN
Okay then i should head home now
SHARON
Okay (She walks him to the door)
NATHAN

Back at home, Jason who just got back from work, had just freshen up and was lying on the couch in the parlour watching his favorite show after having his meal.

Yoo you back and how was the first day at work?
JASON
it was fantastic. You know I actually thought of the ceo as an old dude but I was shock to see a dude like me probably a little older than me maybe three years older I think
NATHAN
Wao that's cool. he replied nonchalantly
JASON
Yes it is and can't wait to tell Jane everything about today's work. By the way, why are you coming back at this time
NATHAN
oh, I went over to Mimie's since I didn't have her number
JASON
Okay. His response was flat
NATHAN
She is gone
JASON
who is gone? he asked as that statement got his full attention
NATHAN
Mimie of course or where you thinking I was talking about Jane? ?
JASON
No I wasn't but what do you mean by Mimie is gone?
NATHAN
Wao. Is that care I hear in your voice ? He asked mockingly? Anyway like I said Mimie is gone. I went by to check on her and Sharon told me she resigned and moved out
Jason was deep in thoughts. He admits he was still hurting from her rejection but he didn't want her to disappear from his life. He did what he did the other day because he wanted her to feel a little bit of what he was and is still feeling after she rejected him
JASON
Is she ever coming back?
NATHAN
Sharon told me she isn't coming back Atleast not after she's gotten over you
JASON
Why will she be getting over me when she was the one who rejected me. he asked getting pissed again
NATHAN
Do you know sometimes you are so dumb to an extend where usually I do ask myself how I could be friends with such a dummy. How many times do I have to tell you that she is in love with you huh?
JASON
Will you stop saying she loves me because if she did she wouldn't have rejected me and seriously Nat you are beginning to really piss me off
NATHAN
That's because she was forced to and that morning she came here because she wanted to tell you everything but what did you do?
JASON
How was i suppose to know and What the hell do you mean she was forced?
Nathan told him everything as Sharon had explained to him. Hearing this Jason staggered back with regret evident in his eyes as he silently shed tears
Did she tell you where she is now leaving?
NATHAN
She didn't because Mimie instructed her not tell anyone not even Jane
JASON
How come Jane doesn't know where Mimie lives
NATHAN
Yea I was that suprised too but they met her at their university days and Mimie has never taken Jane to her house that's why
JASON
It's messed up isn't it?
NATHAN
I'm sorry man but it's so messed up
JASON
Damn. What have I done?
NATHAN
Shedding tears won't solve it
JASON
So what do you suggest I do?
NATHAN
Let things cool down maybe she might still come back for you or she might come back and from there you can try to win her back
JASON
But I just can't sit here doing nothing
NATHAN
Okay what do you wanna do cause I may as well let you know that Sharon despises you so she will never tell you where Mimie is. Guy she said her friend has had enough and she will not let another guy who is not worthy of her friend's love make her friend shot down again she won't. I'm sorry man and I don't wanna say this but I warned you
JASON
I can't. I just can't sit and wait for a miracle to happen. I need to get Mimie back
NATHAN
Okay suit yourself. I'm just wanna freshen up and go to bed goodnight bro.
Nathan leaves while Jason takes his phone dialing Mimie's number but it say user busy. He kept dialing and it kept saying user busy. He used his company's phone and it went through but she didn't pick it up. He insisted to no avail. He later went to bed after many failed attempts
