Mimie rushes inside the house still crying as she makes her way into her room ignoring Sharon who was at the parlour chatting on her phone.
SHARON
Mimie what's wrong?
She asked following her into her room
Girl why are you crying? what happened? He didn't believe you or he doesn't want you anymore? come on tell me what happened? ?
MIMIE
He has moved on Shar he doesn't want me anymore. She says still crying
SHARON
Okay calm down and tell me exactly what happened
She told her everything that happened at Jason's. She was now calm but the tears kept rolling down her cheeks
I can't believe he did such. One minute he is professing his love for you then the next minute he is jumping in bed with your best friend like who does that? Dont even get me started with Jane for i knew this is what she had wanted this from the on set go (she angrily worded)
MIMIE
It's fine Shar. I will just have to accept the fact that he has fallen out of love with me and besides I was the one who publicly rejected him remember? so it's good
SHARON
It's not Mimie love doesn't vanish just like that. if he really loved you, he won't have easily moved on from you come on its Just barely a month he came crying and begging to be with you and now he is loving Jane? are you kidding me right now? in fact I'm calling Nadia (putting a call through to Nadia )
NADIA
Sharon how good of you to call. I miss you and the girls so much
SHARON
And we miss you too girl. Hope you and Henry are doing good?
NADIA
Yea we are and how are the girls especially Mimie cuz I haven't heard from her in awhile hope she is okay?
SHARON

Why did something bad happen to her ? she asks panicking

Yes something did happen and Mimie is not doing well at all beb

No don't but I just want you to know what has been up since she came back from your place. Jason actually confessed his love for Mimie which Mimie rejected because an unknown caller, called Mimie warning her to stay off Jason and if she doesn't, she will kill him but then after enough convincing from me, she decided to go tell him why she had to reject him that day but instead she went there and found him in bed with Jane. Do you know the most painful part? The guy didn't even care or feel as to at least talk to her properly. He just sat there without a care in the world and our girl had to run back home crying her eyes out
NADIA
I'm coming over
SHARON
Just talk to Mimie (she passes the phone to Mimie)

Hi Nadi do not bother coming over
NADIA

I'm going to be fine don't bother coming okay. ....and besides I have Sharon here with me

i will just resign and when I'm healed, I will work at dad's company

Finally. Bob will be happy with you finally joining the company but again what will you tell him happened to your job? ?

I will just tell him I'm home sick besides when I tell him I wanna join him in running the company, he will be so happy to concentrate on why I suddenly came home
SHARON
I'm gonna miss you Mimie. I know our relationship has been sloppy but Mimie I never once stop loving you

NADIA
Okay girls I will be there tomorrow morning. when are you moving?

That same day, Jason dropped Jane off at her house. Jane got into the house where Sharon and Mimie were having lunch. She didn't even say a hi or anything as she made her way to her room

I can't believe you convinced me not to give her a piece of my mind
MIMIE
trust me when I say it isn't worth it
SHARON
Since everything is in the open, I guess it's time I tell you everything
MIMIE

SHARON
I slept with Brown when you guys were still dating Mimie
MIMIE

Hear me out first will you ? Remember the night we had that group hang out back in the university the one Jane organized yeah? Good so she planed everything and with the fact that I drank so much, I didn't know what happened till I woke up naked in bed with Brown laying besides me naked as well. I was shocked and suprise so I hurriedly got dressed and left. That's why I became distant after that party because the guilt was killing me and I didn't know how to tell you. so I decided to become a b***h towards you from then on but keeping it at bay so as not to loose you completely
MIMIE
Wao. Here I thought you just never liked me anymore because we used to be so close before Jane joined us then Nadia suddenly left.

You were closer to me than you were with Jane which she didn't like so she set me up and used it to black mail me but I didn't know she was the unknown black mailer until after five months when we all got our jobs and moved in together. I met someone who helped me and I'm sorry to say but she has been lying to us cuz she was never here for us but for you alone. she has always been envious of you and so decided to be your friend to fit in. She liked Brown but Brown didn't reciprocate the feelings. She wanted frank but frank wanted you not her not forgetting Williams she tried seducing him but it failed then Carl and now Jason

So I've just been a competition to her all this time and here I thought she was a better friend than you ever were. I'm sorry Sharon I'm so sorry. I should have been a better friend to Atleast ask you why you suddenly change and drifted instead I ignored you because I was getting the friendship i lost with you from Jane I'm so sorry (She apologized sincerely )
SHARON
It's fine Mimie. I too partake in the blame for if I had just opened up to you, we won't have gone through all that but there is one more thing

She was the reason Brown broke up with you and was the one who told Carl all those things about you not forgetting the unknown threat about killing Jason. so that is the reason I was insisting that you should go have a talk with Jason

Wao. .....like I can't believe I've been this stupid all this time Wao. what did I ever do to her? I've been nothing but nice ever since she approached me wanting to be friends and ever since we became friends, I've never made her feel like she doesn't belong with us neither has either of you done that so why all this hate?
SHARON
when I learned about all this, i was as shocked as you are but it's was all because of Brown.
MIMIE
How? i do not understand
SHARON
She and Brown had been best friends but she had feelings for him while Brown told her of you and how he has had a thing for you for over a year. So Brown begged her to get closer to you so he can easily approach you which she agreed. Mimie she decided to do it because she had a hidden agenda and all what she's done was that hidden agenda
MIMIE
I swear I had no clue of her liking Brown cuz if I had known, I wouldn't have given him a chance
SHARON
I know Mimie I know. So what happens now?
MIMIE
Shar you know I do not really like drama so I'm just gonna leave everything behind and move on. Move on from Jane and especially Jason though I know it's gonna be hard but I need to for my own sanity. so about the resignation how did it go?
SHARON
It will be signed tomorrow so everything is good to go
MIMIE
Okay then I will need your help in packing tonight please
SHARON
Sure no issues
After lunch, they spent time together catching up then at night, Sharon helped in packing up Mimie's stuffs before they both went to bed. The next day around 10 am, Nadia was already there at the house helping with Mimie's moving out. Jane had already left for work and has no idea of what's happening.
NADIA
Is everything loaded into the car Mr Ben ?
DRIVER
Yes Miss Nadia everything is loaded
NADIA
Okay good. Mimie let's go everything is set and Sharon hurry up so we could drop you off at work before heading to Bob's place
MIMIE
Okay here we are let's go. (They got into the car and drove off )
NADIA
I wish you let me deal with her i swear I'm so angry right now. Never in my life would i have thought that Jane could be such a cunning b***h
SHARON
I wish she did allow us cuz I was so ready to give her my full dose and I'm sure she has no clue we know all what she's done
MIMIE
Girls please just let it go and move on okay. She is so dead to me and even if she apologizes someday, I will never consider her a friend again
NADIA
That applies for us too. She is dead and will never gain our friendship nor trust again never. (The three friends did a group hug )
