Hey Jane. How are you doing?
JANE
I'm very well and you?
JASON
I'm good. I called because the boys and I are hanging out tonight would you mind joining us?
JANE
umm........I don't mind sure why not. so what time?
JASON
I will pick you up so be ready by 8pm
JANE
You pick me up? ? okay cool I'll be waiting
JASON
Okay later then
JANE
Sure
After the call, Jane rushed into her room in order to get ready for tonight. it is 7pm and she was just watching a movie when the call came in
EIGHT-THIRTY PM
Jason is out side waiting for Jane but he didn't wait for long as he could see Jane making her way to him

Wao you look gorgeous Jane
JANE
Thanks Jason and you look handsome as always though
JASON
Oh now you got me blushing like a girl anyway thanks. Shall we?
JANE
We Shall....wait, you got a car?
JASON
Suprise. ...one of the reasons why we are hanging out today
JANE
So there is more? ?
JASON
Yep but I'm not saying a word more. You will get all the details at the club okay..?
JANE
Okay fine let's go
Few minutes later they arrived at the club. Nathan and the others were already inside so Jason help Jane out of the car and they both walked inside joining the guys at the table

Collins, Fred this is Jane I guess you all have heard the name and Jane this are the other two of my friends. This is Collins and the one on your left is Fred
JANE
It's a pleasure finally meeting you two

NATHAN
Hey Jane good to see again
JANE
Same here Nathan. How have you been?
NATHAN
Been good thank you. No need asking you if you are good cuz you are look ravishing tonight
JASON
Calm down tiger. She is here for me not you so please chill (The statement got them laughing)
After the pleasantries, Jason pulls out a seat for Jane while Nathan orders more drinks and grilled chicken

So guys....the reason why we are here today, is to celebrate our guy Jason who just got a job. Yeah I know we already celebrated that but today is special. we all saw the machine he is riding yeah? good so that's exactly what we are celebrating today
JANE
You got a job? (She asked suprised )
JASON
Yeah Jane I finally got a job
JANE
Oh my God...that's great Wao I'm happy for you Jay
JASON

He definitely does. so when are you commencing work?

Guys I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to you all. You guys never let go of my hand despite me being the lesser person in the group all this years. Trust me you see this bond we have, I cherish it more than my life and I can't wish for better friends than you guys cuz you guys are the best
NATHAN
That was so touching man but we want you to know we never for once saw you as a lesser person amongst us. we love you Jason and that's facts.
JASON
Can I get a group hug?
They did a group hug and Jane couldn't help but smile at the pure love the friends have for each other. After the emotional phase, they did little chats as they drank ate and party all night
NATHAN
I will ride home with Fred and Collins Jay you can take Jane home
JASON
Okay see guys tomorrow
JANE
Thanks for tonight guys I had a lot of fun and it was really nice meeting you all
COLLINS

They left while Jason escorted Jane to his and car to drive her home

I don't wanna go home Jay let's head over to your place
JASON

Few minutes later, they got to Jason's.
I will prepare a bath for you and while you are using my shower, I will be using Nathan's

Jason freshen up and wore a sweat pants before heading over to check on Jane. He had left a shower robe for Jane to put on since he doesn't have a clothes for her here.
JASON
Jane are you done? can I I come in ?
JANE
Yes Jay you may come in
JASON
should I make you some coffee or you are okay
JANE
I'm okay Jay
JASON
Okay i will just get some things and head back so you could have your beauty rest.
He walked across the room where his mirror stand stood to get his sleeping pills from the drawer. He felt Jane's hands all over him so he turned facing her.
What are you doing Jane?
JANE
come on Jay you know how much I've always wanted you so don't act clueless. I still want you Jay I never stopped yearning for you
JASON
But Jane........
JANE
Shhhhhhh just kiss me this once please
She closed the distance between their faces and kissed him. He welcome the slow kiss as the move in sync. It became heated to a point where he led her to his bed taking control over the kiss. They made out for awhile before drifting off in each other arms
THE NEXT DAY, NATHAN CAME HOME BUT DIDN'T SEE JASON SO HE THOUGHT HE WAS STILL TIRED FROM YESTERDAY'S CLUBBING SO HE DIDN'T DISTURBE HIM.
THE DOOR BELL WENT OFF
Nathan goes to open the door and was shock to see Mimie
NATHAN
Wao Mimie what a suprise please come in. Do have a seat
MIMIE
Thanks Nathan and yes I know it's surprising seeing me here after rejecting your friend a month ago but hope you do not hate me for that
NATHAN
I will be lying if I say I wasn't mad at you but I know you must have had your reasons and will in time tell him why you did what you did.
MIMIE
True. You are very correct and thanks for that Nathan. Where is Jason? can I see him?
NATHAN
Sure you can. we were out yesterday so he is still asleep probably still tired from yesterday clubbing. let me go fetch him for you
MIMIE

She gave him a tight smile before heading towards Jason's room. She got there gave a light knock before opening the door but the scene before her wasn't what she expected at all. She remained glue to her spot shocked at what she is seeing

She calls out with a voice which is barely audible. Jane was the first one to open her eyes. seeing Mimie, she sat up without a care in the world.
JANE
Hi Mimie
Jane greeted which got Jason attention so he opens his eyes while seating up. He panicked for a second before putting on a blank face.
JASON
What are you doing here? by the way how did you get into my house?
MIMIE
I. ...I. .Nathan let me in (she stutters)
JASON
Okay. .....so what do you want (He asked coldly )
Mimie couldn't believe this guys before her is the same guy who told her he loves her. she felt as her heart was breaking and everything in her was screaming and telling her to run and leave from there. She stood there trying so hard to prevent the tears in her eyes from running down her cheeks
MIMIE
I. ....I.....Never mind
She runs out from there and bumps into Nathan in the living room
NATHAN
Mimie are okay ?
he asked concern and on taking a closer look, he saw the tears she was trying hard to hide.
Mimie why are you crying come on tell me
MIMIE
No I'm fine Nathan but I have to go see you around.
she runs out of the house while confused Nathan runs to Jason's room to ask what happened but seeing Jane on Jason's bed in his bathrobe, got the picture of why Mimie was crying
NATHAN
Hi Jane. Jason a word please (He asked despite the awkwardness)
JASON
Go freshen up jane so we could have breakfast before dropping you at home
JANE

Jason and Nathan leaves the room to Nathan's room. Nathan closes the door after Jason has gotten in.
NATHAN
Why didn't you Atleast text me to know Jane was spending the night over?
JASON
And why is that? He asked with a raised eyebrow
NATHAN
If you had did, I would have told Mimie you aren't home gosh Jay
JASON
Wait let me get this straight. So you called me here just because you are worried about the fact that Mimie saw Jane in my bed?
NATHAN
Shouldn't I be?
JASON
Nathan, Mimie is nothing to me okay......so I do not care if she sees me in bed with Jane or any other lady so chill
NATHAN
Guy so are you telling me you do not care that Mimie saw you and left here crying ?
JASON
Why should I care? she said she didn't want me so she can go to hell for all I care
NATHAN
Guy at least call her to check up on her and if possible let her know nothing happened or did something happen?
JASON
Guy I do not owe her any explanation and I'm not calling her for any goddamn reason. if you care for her that much why not call her or better still go check up on her. see see let this be the last time you talk to me concerning Mimie abeg and yes something happened between us last night
NATHAN
What! Thought you didn't like Jane
JASON
And I thought i told you that if the desirable is not available, make the available desirable so that's exactly what I'm doing
NATHAN
Jay what have you done? You definitely know you are lying to yourself. why couldn't you just have a talk with Mimie before jumping on her best friend the next minute (He asked pissed)
JASON
It's my life Nat so you can't tell me what to do (He spat )
NATHAN
Okay but don't come running to me when the time comes
JASON
Whatever. I'm taking Jane out for breakfast fast then later drop her home see you later
Jason leaves and Nathan just stares at the opened door still finding it hard to believe his friend's actions
