WHAT ARE YOU SORRY FOR?

446 Words
Anne lay on her bed and started recollecting all the events of the past. She recalled how she let Max into her life and everything changed for her. She had her virginity stolen from her. Her s*x tape was out. She had to drop out of school because she was pregnant. All her dreams and aspirations were not met because of Max. It was all because of Max. As she replayed the entire event in her head, she started crying. How has Max come into her life again? She sobbed bitterly until she fell asleep. When Anne woke up in the morning, it was already six so she prepared for her cleaning work in the company. Max went to work very early in the morning. He finished everything quickly. He wanted to follow Anne to her house so that he could talk to her. He knew she would ignore him if he tried to talk to her in the club. He drove to the club but waited outside in his car for Anne. He saw Anne entering the club. He waited for her for 5 hours. When he saw Anne leaving, he followed her. He wanted to give her a ride home but he knew she wouldn't even talk to him. That day, Anne couldn't catch up with the bus because she was a few minutes late. She walked for an hour to her house. As Max watched her from his car, he couldn't do anything but blame himself. As Anne took her key to open her apartment, Max approached her. Pretending not to have seen him, she turned to open the door to her apartment. Max held her by the arm and turned her to face him. Anne please, I need to talk to you. What do you need to talk to me about? I need to talk to you about everything that happened. I'm sorry for... Tell me you're sorry for what? For intoxicating me in order to sleep with me? For stealing my virginity? For making a video of us having s*x? For the insults I had to endure? For getting me pregnant while I was still in school? For me dropping out of school? or for the hell I'm going through now? Tell me Max, which of these are you sorry for? she said everything before she even realized what she had said. Listen Max, we both have nothing to talk about. And don't stand here to tell me you're sorry. Can your sorry make my aspirations come true? Tell me, can it? Before she finished her sentence, tears began to flow down her cheeks. She entered her apartment and locked it.
