LET'S START OVER AGAIN

Max couldn't open his mouth to talk after hearing all the things Anne said. He couldn't bring himself to understand the damage he caused. He was the reason why she was living like that. She couldn't even complete school because she was preg... She was Pregnant? She was pregnant with my child? Oh God what have I done? He said this and cried out like a girl. After bringing himself to stop crying, he was determined more than ever to make up for his mistake. It was in the middle of the night and he drove back to Anne's apartment. He knocked on the door. Anne, without thinking it could be him, opened the door and saw him and was about to shut it when Max went on his knees and held Anne's legs. Anne was surprised to see him do that. She tried not to cry, but seeing him on his knees before her, she cried. She wanted to tell him it was okay. but she couldn't bring herself to forgive him. Max did not get up until Anne reached for his shoulders and asked him to stand up. Max stood up and hugged her saying he was sorry. He asked if he could come into the house and she let her. He followed him inside the apartment. She told him everything from how she had to drop out of school because she was pregnant to losing her baby because she could barely feed herself. Max cried on hearing that. He went close to her and hugged her. Caressing her cheeks, he promised her that everything would be alright. Max going down on his knees, asked Anne to be his friend again. He wanted more than that. He wanted to marry her there and then but he was afraid she would refuse. Anne forgave him and accepted go be his friend. He got up from his knees, carried Anne and put her on his laps. He wiped away her tears and hugged her again.
