A brief moment of Jyu gathering his mana went by.
"Stop, it's enough," Yuna exclaimed.
Looking at his condition, Jyu said, "Already? But I feel like there's still mana roaming around in my body."
"Ah about that, just think of the mana you left around the body as the turning point of the mana you gathered earlier, so that if you want to activate any of your abilities, you can easily activate it because you already have the main base so you just need to strengthen it through the mana you gathered earlier," Yuna continued while taking something from her bag.
"Make sense, the principle is easy to understand," he thought.
Yuna then gave the water bottle she had just taken from her bag to Jyu.
"Rest first, we'll still be here for a long time, the mana contol exercise makes you mentally tired," Yuna suggested.
...
They continued training for the next few hours, with the same method of mana control training.
"Hmmm, I think you can already control the mana flow in your body. If so, we're moving on to the 'Mana Application' exercise or what the common people call 'Magic', it doesn't make any difference because it's the most structured form of mana, after all, its form is beyond human reason so it's only natural to say magic," Yuna explained.
"So this is what it feels like," Jyu muttered looking at his condition.
From Yuna's point of view, there was a significant difference from Jyu where initially he had no control over mana so much that a lot came out of his body. Although it is not directly harmful, if left unchecked it will cause the circulation of mana in the body to be damaged.
Curious about something, Jyu asked, "I feel more energised than usual, is it just because of the mana control training?"
"Well, that's one of the effects, I don't know the details," said Yuna.
Yuna then picked up one of the weapons on the shelf, a one-handed sword that was of medium length and had two edges.
"Earlier we practised something that can't really be seen, now we continue to mana application, because you already understand the concept, it should be easier," said Yuna.
She began to touch the blade with her left hand and rubbed it along the entire length of the blade, as she rubbed the blade a bright blue aura appeared attached to the blade and began to fade when she was done.
"This is one form of mana application, the aura you saw earlier is a manifestation of mana in the real world. Oh yeah, the name is Mana Strengthening, the application doesn't have to be through a sword like this, anything you use can be strengthened using mana," Yuna explained.
Jyu paid close attention to Yuna's explanation and practice, then he began to try without any prompting from Yuna. Using the previous principle, he tried to strengthen his own body, especially in his hands.
"If we use the same principle, we should only channel what is accommodated to the point we want, but I feel something is missing. So I just return what I've contained back to where it was originally," he thought.
"Uwaaa. Your efforts are good but not quite right, there's one thing I haven't told you yet," Yuna, who was about to tell him, immediately stopped to watch Jyu who was trying without listening to what she was about to say.
"So why don't you give-," not having finished his words he was immediately cut off by Yuna, "Anyway, someone was still talking but not being paid attention to."
"So, the thing I want to tell you is that, whenever you want to strengthen anything using mana, you have to compress a large amount of mana into the object you want to strengthen. So, there will be high-density mana in the object, that's the important point of Mana Strengthening", Yuna continued her explanation while swinging her sword.
Hearing the explanation from Yuna, Jyu said, "So that's why mana can be made visible... Like this?" he focused himself and went back to try again. It didn't take long for him to succeed in performing Mana Strengthening, both hands lit up with auras that were slightly different in colour.
Startled, Yuna blurted out, "G-Gold colour? I've never seen an aura like this. The density is okay though—Jyu, who are you really," Yuna's face looked like she had seen a ghost right in front of her, because aura colours were usually just various kinds of green, blue, purple, and red. It all depends on the density of the mana used as well as how pure the mana is, the purer it is, the stronger the effect of the mana is. Pure in the sense that the mana that has been processed in the body is no longer in its rough form.
...
Historically, aura is usually darker and deeper in colour when the density and output are very large, otherwise when mana is used in small amounts, the colour of the aura will be thinner or lighter. The colours themselves range from green, blue, purple, to red but the type of colour has nothing to do with its use, output, or density. Some speculate that the colour type is how much mana is stored in the core or body storage ranging from green to blue, purple and finally red, but until now there is no evidence to support that, because there is an Awakened Ex-Tier who has a green aura so that speculation is dropped.
The one Yuna saw now was the first time in the world.
"Eh? Yuna?" Jyu's voice had an anxious tone.
"No, it's okay, let's continue," Yuna replied while putting on a pose and face that was thinking over something.
