Ep. III: Inside GD Jail
Seiko's POV
[Hachiban Residence]
Another day, another breakfast that my brother is not wearing his school uniform.
"Out for a meeting?" I asked him.
"Yup. I'm going to meet the school building developer," he responded while knifing his poach eggs. "Mom wants to add another aviary."
In that case, I can execute my vengeance on that bedbug. What a fun day ahead.
"Mom should put up a zoo instead. Wait, where are they? They should be the ones to talk to the building developer, right?"
He swallowed the food this month, "They're in our old house today. They're giving it off to you for your wedding," he teasingly smiled, "You're so lucky, bruh! You're marrying the Duchess and getting the house of my dreams!" he shook his head.
Lily Anne again. Will she look like the girl in that picture?
"Are you smiling?" my brother asked. "You are smiling!"
"You're crazy."
"I'm excited to see you getting married," he says. "Thanks for breakfast, Kazehaya!"
Before I leave for school, I ring up one of our homeboys— Jin, to prepare the jail for the disrespectful bedbug. When I arrived at the venue, the most disgusting prison, the old parking lot I asked my mom about, was up. That girl is so dropping out.

Yurime's POV
[Hachiban University]
The hairspray Chiyo gave me is a good cover-up. It really hides my 5 inches roots. I won't lose my way here. I'm good with familiarizing myself with a place. Chiyo and I went to separate classrooms. I felt a little nervous when I was about to open the door. This is peculiar. So, instead of standing there, I opened the door.
No flying board erasers. The seat that the good Hachiban gave me is still here, so it must all be good. I sat and tried to relax, hoping this would be a good day for me.
A female Redster approached me, "Hey, Hanazaki!" she's one of the evil Hachiban crew.
I responded nicely, "Yes?"
"The student council president is looking for you," she said.
Student Council exists here, too? Strange.
"Why are they looking for me?" I asked.
"They are giving badges to new students. For sure, your sister has one from her first grade," she answered.
I can't remember a badge hanging around Chiyo, but I think she has a pin- That might be the pin this Redster is talking about.
"C'mon, they're waiting!" she demanded.
I then stood up from my seat and left my things in there. I don't feel good about this. While heading to the office, the Redster paused before the Student Council's door.
"Just stay there," she signaled me to stop, "I will knock to check if they're still there, ok?" she said.
"Why? You said they're waiting. Is that not true?" I asked.
"They have things to do other than this, Hanazaki. Just be quiet," she continues to walk to the room.
I let her leave me standing alone along the hallway. I watch my wristwatch tick 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… rounds, and that Redster hasn't come out of this door where she gets in.
6, 7, 8, 9, 10… minutes.
I am tempted to knock on the door, but I just let it pass.
11, 12, 13, 14, 15!
Fifteen minutes already. Seriously?! How long does she have to see if the council is there? I'm highly suspicious of this. Someone shouted from behind.
"Hanazaki!"
Then smoke started to show up. I turned around to see who was calling me. It's another person from the class. A squeezing sound of gas hovered in the hallway from the ceiling. I tried to run, but the smoke weakened me. It's dazing me up, and the surroundings are turning twice. I'm trying to fight it, but the chemical must have gotten inside me. I felt my knees touching the ground, slowly joining the rest of my body.
I still heard the squealing of the gas until my eyes finally gave up. I can listen to that person calling me. And then, I don't hear any more.
Everything is just dark now.
I started to feel numb, and that's when I gained consciousness slowly. When I open my eyes, my arms are wrapped around my knees in a tight space. I'm in a box. It's not closed because I can see the light. I tried to move, but it was too tight inside here! I need to get out. I hold my breath to slide my arms out of myself and out of this box. Once my hands were out, I stood up and shook my legs.
When my body felt the blood was circulating normally again, I noticed where I was. The room is lighted by the sunlight, and the window looks like a jail. I knew that it was a trap! I heard people outside laughing--all of them were Redsters.
I looked around.
There were worms, centipedes, tarantulas, and giant red ants-- I screamed internally and covered my mouth. You can smell spits and molding walls with somewhat small papers in them. You can also smell the spoiled foods, a mix of sourly bitter pungent that punches straight to your nose and makes your stomach turn. They really spare a budget for this torture arena. How petty is Hachiban for this?
"Hanazaki!"— there's a speaker here. "How was your sleep? Are you enjoying the experience of being in GD Jail?" Hachiban is outside on the highest seat, holding a phone connected to the speaker.
I stood still and didn't give a sh!t on him teasing me. And what is GD Jail? I felt a tarantula crawling on my school shoes, so I took it and put it in my hand instead. The hairy and undesirable look is really scaring me, but I want to show Hachiban that he can't take me down by this disgusting jail he made. I pat the tarantula on its back.
"Hey, I didn't put you there to have fun with my pets!" he said. Then he signaled to someone somewhere, and the ceiling opened. Water splashed all over the place. They had me soaking wet.
Shoot, NO! My hair! I touched it, and the black spray was wearing off.
"Is it fun or what!" Hachiban said over the microphone.
I screamed, "Why are you so evil?"
"I know! You should learn your lesson from this. I'm the Duke of Cambridge, and you should pay respect," he laughed devilishly with his friends.
Hachiban signaled again, and the window grill opened. The Redsters start to get small buckets of slime and throw them on me. They're all laughing, obviously having fun throwing things at me.
At this point, I don't know what I should do.
Should I laugh or cry? I want to go home.
They carried on, and I don't think they will ever stop. I'm soaking in different chemicals now, and I don't know what to tell Chiyo when she asks me why I look this way. I have to close my eyes so that my contact lenses won't be damaged for the least.
Pity on myself started as I couldn't move. Lily Anne has always been so helpless and a coward. What did I do to deserve this?
A loud voice shouted, "Hey, stop!" – Throwing things stopped like divine intervention.
Then I felt this person wiping my head.
"Don't cry, Hanazaki. It's me, Seiichan." ~I was not crying, but now I'm about to.
"Seiichan..." I whispered.
Seiichan wiped my eyes and the rest of my face. Now I can open my eyes again. He removed his trench coat, wrapped it around me, and helped me walk outside. The surroundings became quiet. We're like two celebrities hiding from the paparazzi or exiting while avoiding the flashes. We walked until we reached a small house; it was white with a French-style door with 2 hanging light lamps on both sides.
Seiichan knocked, and the door was opened by an older woman.
"Help her clean up, please," he told the maid.
The old woman showed me to the bathroom. She asked me to remove my shoes, socks, and other clothing and head to the shower while preparing the bathtub. The flour, slime, egg, and this white thing that looks like shaving cream go down the drain, and the hair colorant is dripping off my body. At this point, I know that I want to cry.
The old woman called me up to get me in the tub. It's a milk bath with real rose petals, and I can smell the fragrance of rose oil in it. She really did help me wash my dirty hair.
"Thank you for helping me, madam," I said.
"You're welcome. What's your name, dear?" she asked.
I cleared my throat, "Hanazaki, Yurime."
"What a beautiful name you have, Hanazaki. You know, Seikun has a special mental condition, my dear. I hope for your understanding. He's a kind kid, but when he's triggered, this happened," she said.
I knew that Seiko Hachiban had a different kind of brain- it's abnormal, for sure. This woman is so friendly and sweet, though.
"For sure, I can understand, madam."
"You're so kind, my lady," she said.
My lady... it resounds in my head. I don't want to give that another meaning because she might just be polite, but it gives off a different impression. I was done bathing, and she gave me a soft towel and a robe.
My body felt alive again. The old lady stepped out and returned shortly with a school uniform and undergarments. This is mellow dramatic, but I carried on by dressing myself up. I finished by drying my hair with a hairdryer and tying it up to cover the showing roots. The bathroom is as big as our bedroom, so I can freely move around. When I finished, I went outside.
Chiyo hugged me, looking worried. "Lily!" I'm surprised. "Are you ok?" she asked.
I responded in an almost crying tone, "I'm all good."
The clock says it's only time for lunch. We still have hours to stay in this hell.
"This is unacceptable, Mr. Hachiban!" Chiyo turned to Seiichan, "Are you not supposed to protect students from incidents like this? This is insane!"
"I'm sorry about what happened, Hanazaki. I wish I could control my brother, but I can't. I would do everything possible to prevent this," Seiichan promised.
The old woman served lunch at the dining table and invited us to eat. This white house is very relaxing. Only a few other colors, like green, brown, and yellow, are in it. This house is immaculate. It's the exact opposite of that jail I was in. I don't want to remember that nightmare.
