"Her name was Renee - are you sure?" Frankie wanted to be sure before she jumped into this head first. Adam nodded while taking another drag of his cigarette, "You didn't hear it from me." He gave her a look and a friendly wink. She was grateful to him, she finally felt there was at least one person here she could trust. "So my mother's name was Renee, the same as what that lady had told me. Could it be true? Could she be my mother?" Frankie thought to herself. It didn't make sense, her mother was dead, or at least she was meant to be. She needed to know more, something wasn't right. Somebody was lying, and until she knew who, she had to be careful. Food was no longer a concern. She knew the staff would be preparing it but there needed to be more than she found in her father's office.
