Revenge: The Fiery Lady

A lady in her twenties was laying on the hospital bed wearing a blue hospital gown. Her head was wrapped around in white bandage with an oxygen mask on. A nurse wearing a nose mask opened the recovery room door carrying kidney dish filled with cannula, injections and a bottle of dextrose solution in her hand. She changed the dextrose bottle of the lady laying on the bed with her eyes closed. The nurse checked the mechanical ventilator and the bedside monitor for her vitals. The nurse disinfected her skin after finding the veins. She picked up the injection and put the syringe inside her skin. A groan was heard and her hand with the injection flinching. The nurse was surprised to see the lady gaining her consciousness. It has been one month since she slipped into coma. This lady has come to the hospital because of an accident. When she was brought in her condition was very critical and the doctors were not sure she would survive even after the operation. she went into comatose after the surgery. The nurse removed the oxygen mask and said to the lady, "am coming". She went to call the doctor leaving the lady alone in the room. As she tried to touch her head with her hand, she felt a sharp pain. " Ah ..it hurts, why ..does my head hurt?". She couldn't touch her head because of the cannula that was attached to her hand. Her eyelashes fluttered as she struggles to open her eyes slowly. it took her awhile for her eyes to get adjusted to the light. When she opened her eyes, she could see the white ceiling and the smell of disinfectant irritated her nose. She looked around and observed her surroundings. it's a hospital room. " Am in a hospital", Although she hated hospitals but she was glad for once that means someone saved her. Before losing her consciousness, she remembered that a truck hit her car intentionally off the road after witnessing her fiance with her best friend having s*x. All she remembered before losing her consciousness was the pain of betrayal and the fear of her dying. when she remember the intense pain of the glass cutting through her skin as the car somersaulted down the valley, she felt like crying. however, she was relieved for being alive. As she was busy in her thoughts, the door of the hospital room opened and two doctors entered accompanied by the nurse. The doctors were surprised to see that the lady had gained consciousness and was staring at them. The older doctor in his forties used halogen penlight to check her pupillary reflex while the younger doctor in his thirties checked her blood pressure using a sphygmomanometer. The doctors did a full check up on her and found that she was surprisedly okay. After an hour, they returned the nurse help her by supporting her back against the elevated bed. She smiled a the doctors and asked, " doctor, how is my condition now? when can I get back to work? Actually I was working on the launch for the collection of clothes and jewries and am just worried that it will be postponed because of my injury". The doctors glanced at each other,they were confused and had no idea what she was saying. "Ms Johnson, you need to have complete rest for at least the next two months. You need to give your body time to heal". On hearing the doctors word, Adela Kings was upset but she had expected this. After getting hurt so badly. " I understand, she said. But I can still do all my activities like sky diving and mount climbing right? Even though she was only 29 years old, she always lived those activities that's why she was worried. "Yes, the doctor replied, you can do all that. Ms Johnson, You have a head injury, so you must be careful and avoid taking any form of stress". If you can follow doctors advice and take your medicines, then you will have no problem". Adela Kings nodded and said," I understand. But doctor why do you keep calling Ms. Johnson? I think your confusing me with some other patient, she chuckled. My name is Adela Kings not Ms. Johnson. * * * * * * * The doctors were confused hearing her words. The doctor double checked the name of the patients on the bed, there was no mistake. "Take her for a CT scan". The doctor said and keep observing her. " Is there something wrong, doctor? "Adela asked after seeing their expression. " Ms. Johnson Aliyah... can you remember what happened before you lost consciousness?. " Ergh....Yes.
