"You’ve decided upon it, Carrie. What’s more to say?” I said in a hard tone.
“I haven’t decided on anything. You presupposed.” She enlightened. I stood up from where I was seated, feeling frustrated. Having her in the room without being able to touch her was sweltering.
“You decided on a normal life. I can’t give you that. I am not normal. There is nothing normal about this f****d up locus.” I growled, angered about the truth. Angered by the fact that she couldn’t gamble her safety with me.
“I can’t decide on this so easily, okay? My parents. I have been very selfish and, since I was in danger like you said, my parents are not safe either."
