Melissa had initially thought that the trip would be total disaster, but it was totally the opposite. They both enjoyed it. Asher apologized the next day and even though she still felt quite angry at the way he reacted, she decided to forget it and move on. But Melissa decided that she wasn't going to bother him if he didn't want to be bothered.
As for the short trip she enjoyed it, after meetings Asher would have dinner with her in their hotel room. They would often talk about themselves. While Melissa told him about her university and her annoying history teacher, he would talk about his office and the stress. They would even laugh at things. Well, Melissa laughed whereas he just smiled at her. She realized that he wasn't a laughing person and she had no complaints with that.
