Sonia put a cherry on the cream cake and took a step back admiring its beauty

Sonia: what do you think, Marie?

Marie: ridiculous, starting from the cake you are making for that snake Hira till the other snake Eliana who is staying with us for to steal Adarsh back

(Then she took a sip of tea and Sonia sighed then she sat on the chair beside Marie)

Sonia: I don’t think Mr. Adarsh has the mind to think about Eliana or anyone else while the cheque is missing and his son too

Marie: the bad seed Jude, but no worries Joseph and Sultan are searching for him, they will find him soon

Sonia: now can you imagine his mother condition? Not only her son is missing but also she is squirming all day around Eve and Viola, trying to tell them what can’t be told

Marie: she deserves it, a woman running away with another man and leaving her husband is a sinner no less 

Sonia: as for Sanjay and Hira, the poor man is thinking 24 hours about the rat poison, and the girl is in the hospital

Marie frowned: my poor boy, even when the snake Hira is not here, she is keeping my son thinking about her

Sonia frowned: GOD Marie, don’t you get it?!!!! Hira stayed for days in the hospital and Nelly came here every single day, morning and night trying every single trick in your book to win back Sanjay, and Sanjay accepted to give their relation chance like you wanted (then she smiled) but even though he can’t stop thinking about Hira, he runs to the hospital to visit her, he is falling for the girl

Marie frowned: no (then she stood) I will never let my little prince fall, on the ground or in love, especially for this snake

Hira: I heard a snake, so I assume you are talking about me, Mrs. Singh Khatri!!!!

Both Sonia and Marie looked behind them only to find Hira standing at the entry of the door, supported on Sanjay’s shoulder, Marie smiled a nervous smile looking at Sanjay who was raising an eyebrow to her

Marie smiled: of course not, oh my sweet Hira, I missed you terribly

And she rushed towards Hira and hugged her, Sanjay tightened his eyes for Marie and Marie smiled to him and patted on Hira’s back; then broke the hug

Marie: ADARSH, ADARSH (then she looked at Sonia) Sonia, go and tell Adarsh that Hira is here

Sonia: yes Ma’am

And she walked out of the kitchen and Hira looked at Sonia going then looked back at Marie

Hira: Is Mr. Singh Khatri okay? The last time I saw him he was talking with Nanny Eliana outside my hospital’s room then he didn’t enter with her and Left

Marie: yes I know, we are going through really tough time now, Hira; he didn’t have time to Visit you

Sanjay: why? What happened?

Marie: of course you don’t know (then she looked at Hira with a smile) since he and Nelly returned back together she is taking all his time; if it doesn’t consider Nelly he doesn’t want to know

Hira put her hand on her chest and Sanjay frowned faintly to Marie

Sanjay: Mother, please don’t change the subject, what is wrong?

Marie frowned: Your brother stole “a quarter million dollar “cheque from AAA factory, your father is devastated, if he doesn’t find the cheque soon or pay the money which we don’t have; they will take actions, god only knows what is the actions they will take

Sanjay’s eyes widened: oh my god, why didn’t you tell me about this? Where is Adarsh?

Marie frowned: he is in the office room with Viola and call him “Papa”

Sanjay frowned: he is Adarsh for me not more

Marie frowned: you disowned your father for slapping Hira?!!! Even Hira forgives him on that, right Hira? Say something, do you want to stand between father and son?

Hira swallowed: no I...

Sanjay frowned: you don’t have anything to do with that Hira, it was long before you and my dear mother knows that

Marie: whatever it is, don’t you think it’s time for you to forgive him?

Sanjay strictly: I don’t forgive

Hira put her hand on her chest as he walked out of the kitchen and she rushed behind him, in the same time Adarsh and Another man got out of his office room as Viola, Sonia and surprisingly Nelly were waiting outside the door, the man looked at Sanjay and smiled, and Sanjay looked at him back and nodded, Nelly rushed towards Sanjay and Leaned her head on Sanjay’s shoulder

The man: good to see Sanjay

Sanjay: thank you, Uncle Anthony 

Hira looked at Adarsh and he was looking at Anthony going away with a frown then he looked at Sanjay

Adarsh: Sanjay, I need to talk to you, can....

Sanjay held Nelly’s hand and both ascended the stairs, Hira felt ache in her heart seeing them holding hands

Sanjay: whatever is going on with you, I don’t care about it

Hira looked at Adarsh, and saw him looking down with pain in his eyes, and when their eyes met, he rushed back inside the office room, it took Hira by surprise that he didn’t even say hi or welcome back, but when Viola frowned and walked towards her, she didn’t give it a second thought and smiled

Viola: Poor Papa, I don’t know why Sanjay is treating him like that

Hira: Marie provoked him of why he is not calling Uncle Adarsh “Papa”

Viola: well, whatever the issue he has with Papa, he better get over it because we are in deep trouble and we need him

Hira swallowed: why? What can Sanjay do, Viola?

Viola sighed: they sent me out of the office room but I heard everything, you know Uncle Anthony is Nelly’s father, and he is the highest share owner in AAA cardboard, very wealthy, so he came to tell Papa that he can pay the cheque instead of us, if..... (Then she sighed) If Papa sold to him all his shares and....Sanjay married Nelly

Hira put her hand on her chest and a tear fall from her eye, Viola looked at her hand, then she looked down

Viola: I am so sorry Hira, as much as I hate to break your heart and hate Nelly even more but I really wish if Sanjay agrees and marry Nelly because if he didn’t, Papa will go to the prison, he took all the blame on himself instead of Jude (Then she frowned) believe me if it was Jude, I would have not said that; because Jude deserves Prison for what he did to us, he is my half but he completely broke me

Hira held her tears and rushed away, towards the elevator, pressed on the button and was surprised to see Mateo inside it with a suitcase

Hira in Spanish: you are returning to Spain

Mateo in Spanish: I couldn’t visit you in the hospital and ask you if you love Sanjay and I also couldn’t leave without asking you, but the truth I denied is that I didn’t need to ask you, you answered before I ask, the look you were looking at him in the party, you never looked it at me before, also many other things I chose to ignore but now I can’t, I just want to know, for the sake of the 5 years we spent together, why couldn’t I have your heart ?

Hira in Spanish: I don’t know, I am sorry (she said it as tears flow on her cheeks)

Mateo in Spanish: if he didn’t know how lucky he is (then he smiled) my broken heart will be waiting for you to heal it back

And he held her hand and kissed it, she looked down with teary eyes and he hugged her then took the suitcase and Left, Hira sobbed seeing him getting out of the door, knowing that she broke his heart broke her heart even further, she ran upstairs, her eyes blurry with tears and entered Sanjay’s open room, ignored Nelly who was sitting beside Sanjay on the edge of the bed and hugged him, he hugged her back with widened shocked worried eyes, Nelly felt fire in her head

Sanjay: Hira, what is wrong?

Hira: just hug me, please

Sanjay hugged her tighter, and looked at Nelly and she was frowning and looking forward

Hira: hurting people is difficult, and I hurt Mateo really bad, I broke his heart

Sanjay: you broke up with him?

Hira broke the hug and nodded faintly and he pulled her back in his arms

Sanjay: please don’t cry, I am sure he is not hurt (then he smiled) he couldn’t love you like you deserve to be loved, Hira; he didn’t visit you in the hospital for even once, you stayed there many days, how could he stand be away from you a minute, a second

Hira looked at him, and put her hand on her chest, her heart beating faster than it ever did

Sanjay: even I couldn’t and we are not in love

Nelly smiled faintly and Hira’s teary eyes widened in shock for a moment and Sanjay’s smile vanished

Sanjay: what?

Hira smiled nervously: nothing, it’s just you are so right, I feel so stupid

Nelly smiled widely: I know how can you get over Mateo (then she put her head on Sanjay’s shoulder) we should get out, to dance and have fun, what do you think Sanjay?

Sanjay: but no drinking for you, Hira

Hira smiled and nodded: I will go get myself ready

And the smile vanished the moment she turned and her eyes widened as she walked out of the room

Eliana: Hira? Welcome back sweetie

Hira looked at Eliana and wiped her tears, Eliana approached her and took her in her arm and they descended the stairs together

Eliana: why were you crying, sweetie?

Hira: I and Mateo broke up

Eliana smiled: sorry to hear that, but I have for you happy news that will cheer you up, I held it for so long but I can’t wait, you know who I am for the Singh Khatri?

Hira: you knew the Singh Khatri from before?

(Then she frowned when Sultan entered and Marie rushed towards him)

Marie: come to the kitchen, if you have news about him, I will feed you

And she looked at Eliana with a frown as she entering the kitchen back, Eliana frowned

Eliana: who is this?

Hira frowned: this is Sultan, uncle Joseph’s driver and the one who is doing Marie’s dirty work

Eliana: Marie’s dirty work?

Hira frowned: yes, she made him take me against my will to her horrible brother Joseph to scare me, I am sure she must sent for him to find Jude and frighten him to bring back the cheque

Eliana’s eyes widened: my son Jude?

Hira’s eyes widened: your son? Oh my god Sonia told me Eliana but I didn’t think it’s you

(Then she frowned and her body shivered, then she said in low tone)

Hira: so Adarsh is your ex-husband that you told me about?

Eliana nodded faintly, as Sultan got out from the kitchen rushing out, so Eliana rushed behind him and Hira rushed to Adarsh’s office room and thumped on its door with tears flowing under her disgusted frown

Adarsh opened his door, Hira looked at him for moment with widened teary eyes and Adarsh swallowed

Adarsh: welcome back. My... my daughter

Hira groaned in anger and was about to slap him but he held her hand and she screamed

Hira: RADHA GARCIA WAS YOUR BEST FRIEND, YOU MURDE...

Adarsh covered her lips and pulled her inside the office room, she screamed under his hand

Meanwhile

Eliana walked behind Sultan with hope of following him till she reaches Jude and protect him, but was surprised to find him not walking towards the gate and walking towards the Garden; she followed him till he entered gardening equipment’s room and closed the door behind him.

The frightening thought of Jude being held in this room and tortured took over her mind, she ran towards the room and opened it like a storm, only to find another shock waiting for her, it was Eve, bare from the waist up and Sultan’s lips covered with her lipstick

Eliana: EVE

Meanwhile

Adarsh removed his hand off Hira’s lips and left her on the couch but for his shock she screamed then hid her face from him and sobbed

Adarsh: you scared of me, Hira?

Hira looked at him with teary eyes and nodded

Hira: you now know that I know everything, so you will kill me like you killed my family

Adarsh shook his head: no

(Then he sat beside Hira and tried to touch her head but she moved her head away so he closed his hand)

Adarsh: I am so sorry for what happened, Radha was like a sister for me, you can’t imagine the pain I am feeling, the torture I am in.

(Hira frowned as tears flow on her cheek)

Hira: sorry? You killed my mother and my father in front of my eyes, you burned them and made me an orphan, you took 11 years from Sanjay’s life and you are saying pain? What do you know about Pain!!!

Adarsh closed his eyes as tears flow on his cheek and said in low tone

Adarsh: I wanted to take you and Jagdev in my arms...

Hira frowned confused hearing Jagdev’s name as tears flowing on her cheek

Adarsh: I hoped and prayed to be able to do that, take care of Part of Radha, maybe she can forgive me, maybe you can forgive me

Hira: I wish if I can forgive you , I wish if I can forget what you did but I can’t, you are so kind to me and I wanted you to be so cruel so I can hate you, I have to hate you, no I can never forgive you, never

She stood and was about to go but Adarsh said in low tone

Adarsh: Hira, you have to leave the mansion

Hira frowned and turned as Adarsh shook his head...

Adarsh: It’s not safe for you and I will not be here to protect you, you have to leave and never return   

Meanwhile

Sultan rushed out and Eve wore her night gown back and robe, then tried to walk away but Eliana held her hand

Eliana frowned: Eve, how could you? With the driver?!!

Eve chuckled sarcastically: look who is talking? Didn’t you run with a driver too and left your child

Eliana looked at her shocked: you know I am your mother?!!

Eve: from the moment I saw your twins I knew (then she frowned) they look just like him and sadly I was old enough to have your features and his in my memory till today

Eliana: Eve (then she touched Eve’s face) I am so sorry, I...

Eve: sorry? You raised Hira and left me, you think you can be my mother now?

Eliana: I wish if...

Viola: why will she be our mother?!!!

Eve and Eliana turned to see Viola standing and looking at them shocked, Eliana looked at her and her eyes crowded with tears

Eliana: I am your mother Viola; I didn’t die like your father said...

Eve frowned: no she left you to run away with the driver, she raised Hira and had with him Pedro and the other one instead of raising you

Viola frowned and her eyes crowded with tears and Eliana approached her but Viola took a step back

Eliana: Viola, I love you so much sweetie, I wish if you can give me another chance to be your mother

Viola: another chance? I don’t remember you ever being my mother (then she frowned as tears flow on her cheek) I don’t know you

And she walked back to the mansion, only to find Hira walking out with pale face and widened eyes, and Sanjay and Nelly behind her

Sanjay: Viola, Hira wants us to spend the night in Jagdev’s nightclub; do you want to come with us?

Hours Later

In the night club

Jagdev frowned faintly seeing Hira walking towards his table, he looked at the bouncer standing beside the VIP red ropes surrounding his table ,The bouncer nodded then walked towards Hira, stopped her in the way, she looked at Jagdev and Jagdev smirked to her raising his Champagne glass

Hira: I NEED TO TALK TO YOU, PLEASE

Then she tried to walk towards him again but the bouncer stopped her by holding her arm harshly, she screamed and Jagdev stood shocked and ran towards her

Jagdev: HOW DARE YOU, LEAVE HER

The bouncer left Hira instantly and Jagdev took Hira away from him

Jagdev angrily: return back to your table, Hira Singh Khatri; there is nothing to talk to you about

Hira frowned: I am not Singh Khatri, I am Garcia; just listen to me, Adarsh said your name when he mentioned my mother, why?

Jagdev just left her and sat back on his table behind the ropes and looked at the bouncer and nodded, the bouncer stood in Hira’s way to Jagdev again, Hira sighed then walked back to Sanjay’s table

Sanjay: where were you?

Hira: I was talking with Jagdev

Viola looked towards Jagdev on the far table and she raised her glass and he raised his glass too

Nelly frowned: why were you so worried about her, what could have happened to her?

Sanjay frowned: someone poisoned her, we still don’t know who did this or how?

Nelly: get over this already, she said she poisoned herself, enough we came here to have fun (then she smiled) Lets go dance

Sanjay smiled: bad news, I still hate dancing, that didn’t change about me

Nelly frowned and folded her arms and Hira looked at Sanjay in disbelief, he noticed

Sanjay smiled: what?!!

Hira: it just dancing is my favorite thing in the whole world and you said you hate it, I know you weren’t comfortable when we danced before but didn’t imagine you hated it

Nelly frowned: you danced with her?!!!

Sanjay: it was one time and like she told you I wasn’t comfortable

Viola: I will go sit with my friends

Sanjay: are you okay, Viola?

Viola nodded and walked away then sat with the three girls on a table far from them

Hira smiled: you are very sweet and sensitive person and dancing is away to describe emotions, how it is not reaching you?

Nelly frowned: he hates dancing don’t make a big deal of it

Sanjay smiled: no no, Let her talk (then he looked at Hira) I never know you think like that Hira, then he smiled wider) okay make me understand how emotions can be expressed through dancing  

Hira stood and took his hand, and he smiled and just went with her

Nelly: you will dance with her?!!

Sanjay didn’t hear Nelly, he was lost in Hira’s words of describing dancing so passionately, he felt the fog around Hira that always prevented him from knowing her moved slightly, to show a blurry picture of the most beautiful person he ever seen

Hira stopped in the middle of the dance floor and smiled holding his hand and looking at his eyes, she put his other hand around her waist

Hira: Let’s say I want to tell you that “I am happy when you are with me and feel safe between your arms”

And she bent over his wrist that wrapped around her waist, with her eyes closed her and a wide smile over her lips, she was so beautiful, it felt so beautiful, Sanjay decided to save this picture in his mind forever

Hira stood back straight and put her hand on his shoulder with the other holding his hand

Hira: now I will tell you ”I want you to be mine”

And she put her leg over his wrist and with one hand on his shoulder, pulled him towards her that his  chest hit her chest, then put her other hand over his cheek, Sanjay’s eyes widened and his lips parted feeling her breath tickling them

Hira in low tone: now I will tell you “it’s because I love you “

And she put her leg down and her wrists around his neck as he put his hands around her waist and she leaned her forehead over his forehead, he closed his eyes, they stayed like that for a moment

Hira: now I will tell you “but I know we can’t be, so I am letting you go”

And she left his hand and was about to walk away but Sanjay held hand and pulled her back to hit his chest and wrapped his arms around her waist

Hira whispered: now I don’t understand, what is that means?

Nelly got off her table and pulled Hira from Sanjay’s hands, and she was Hira’s handbag in her hand

Nelly: your makeup is a mess, we will go fix it, excuse us Sanjay

Sanjay nodded faintly looking at Hira going with Nelly, both girls entered the Ladies room, and Nelly opened Hira’s bag getting the makeup bag out, and she took a “liquid lipstick” and put some on Hira’s lips, Hira sighed

Hira: I can put my makeup myself, thank you

Nelly: it’s so bad on you!! Do you always aim for things that don’t suit you?

Hira looked at the mirror then at the lipstick with a frown

Hira: that is not mine, maybe it’s yours

Nelly: No but I will take it anyway, I am sure it will suit me more than you

And she applied it on her lips as Hira frowned and wiped her lips, then looked in her makeup bag for her lipstick but didn’t find it

Nelly: I see what are you doing, it’s not going to work, I and Sanjay will get engaged, otherwise his father will go to prison

Hira’s eyes widened: how can you accept forcing someone to marry you? And you are not ashamed

Nelly frowned: I am not forcing him!! I am his childhood love, I waited for him 11 years, so who are you to stand in my way? you are not as beautiful or as rich or as educated as me, Sanjay told you before he doesn’t love you and told me he doesn’t even know you and we both know if he knew you, he will not like what he knows, so have some dignity and stay away from us

And she walked out of the bathroom, only to find Sanjay waiting for them, her eyes widened and she squeezed on the lipstick, Sanjay looked at her with a frown

Sanjay: what is that in your hand?

Nelly smiled: that?!! It’s a lipstick Hira found in her makeup bag and she says it’s not hers

Hira got out of the bathroom closing her bag and while looking down sadly

Hira: Sanjay, I want to go home please

Sanjay: this lipstick is not yours, are you sure?

Hira frowned confused: yes, it’s the same brand but mine is 19 pink that is 61 pink, it’s slightly darker pink and mine is not there

Nelly: why is that big deal, it’s just a lipstick

Sanjay took a moment then his eyes widened and held his head

Sanjay: oh my god, the poison wasn’t in any food or drink, it was in your lipstick and when you drank anything it entered your stomach, and the murderer must was in hurry to replace it, he didn’t notice the lipstick was in the store upside down when he bought it, so he bought the upside down of 19 which is 61

Hira’s eyes widened in disbelief and Sanjay nodded with a smile

Sanjay: we have to go to the police, come one Hira, they will investigate and we will know everything

Hira: no, I don’t want anyone to know anything, I forgive.

Sanjay’s eyes widened: forgive? Don’t you want your criminal to be punished?

Hira: no, I don’t need this right now and if you told the police what you reached to, I will tell them that the lipstick is mine and wasn’t switched, now take me home please

Sanjay angrily: WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF MORE THAN YOUR LIFE, I DON’T UNDERSTAND YOU

Hira’s eyes crowded with tears: I DON’T WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND ME OR CARE FOR ME, LEAVE ME ALONE

And she was about to walk away but her phone rang, she opened her bag and looked at the phone and was surprised to see it’s Marie the caller

Hira: Hola?........... WHAT? Marie, Marie

And she looked at the phone then she rushed towards Sanjay who was frowning to her

Hira: Sanjay, Marie called me the police are taking your father for Jude’s cheque, he took all the responsibility, I don’t know more because my phone’s battery is empty

Sanjay’s eyes widened: oh god, we have to go home  

And they ran towards Viola’s table who was sitting with three girls drinking and her eyes aimless  

Sanjay: Viola? Something has happened, we have to go

Viola: my own mother doesn’t care about me so why would I care about anyone, leave me alone

Sanjay: we don’t have time Viola; I have to drive you home

Jagdev approached towards Sanjay and put his hand on Sanjay’s shoulder

Jagdev: go Sanjay and I will drive Viola home

Sanjay: okay thank you, Jagdev, thank you

Hira’s eyes widened looking at Jagdev as Sanjay pulled her away and Nelly rushed behind them

Girl 1: well said Viola, who cares about them, drink, drink

Jagdev frowned as the girl put the glass on Viola’s lips and Viola drank it as if she was drinking bitter medicine

Viola in low tone: I can’t drink anymore

Girl 2: come on, that is a baby talk

(And she forced another drink in Viola’s throat and Jagdev noticed the third girl nervously taking her hand out of Viola’s bag and hiding something shiny under the couch’s cushion; he assumed it’s a piece of jewelry)

Jagdev frowned: come on Viola let me take you home

Girl 1: we will first go to the Ladies room, come Viola

The girls pulled Viola and Jagdev walked behind them, they entered the Ladies room and left the door slightly open, so he looked through it

Viola: no one loves me but you guys, you take good care of me

Girl 2 opened her bag and took out a syringe and filled it from a small bottle, Jagdev’s eyes widened

Girl 3: of course Viola, look what I bought for you, it’s very powerful, it will make you forget about your mother and it won’t cost you much

Viola’s eyes crowded with tears: I want to forget, it hurt so much, but drugs scare me

Girl 1: scared of what?!! Don’t be a baby

And Girl 1 signaled to girl 3 who held Viola’s arm firmly and Viola flinched as Girl 2 tied a belt around her arm and hit with her fingers over Viola’s wrist

Girl 1: look away not at the needle

Viola looked towards the bathroom door and Jagdev saw her face, she was so scared and sobbing, he couldn’t handle it

Jagdev: NO, NO

And he opened the bathroom like a storm, the syringe feel from the girl’s hand and Jagdev stepped on it, it broke to pieces

Jagdev: GET OUT OF MY NIGHTCLUB OUT

The girls ran out and he held Viola’s shoulder and shook her angrily

Jagdev: HOW COULD YOU LET THEM DO THAT TO YOU, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?

Viola sobbed and hugged Jagdev, and his eyes widened as she held on his shirt and sobbed on his chest, his hand wanted to hug her back but he stopped himself

Jagdev: let me take you home

They walked with each other out of the nightclub then rode his car and drove away, Viola sobbed and sobbed till she fell asleep

Jagdev: Viola? Viola?

Not seeing her even turn Jagdev looked at her for a moment, and tears flow on his cheek then he took his deep breath and parked the car

Jagdev: be a man, be a man

And he held the phone and dialed Hira’s, the phone recorded message said the phone is closed and to leave a message

Jagdev: Hira, the murderer Adarsh mentioned my name because I am your half-brother, son of Radha Garcia, I know you never knew about me and one day I will explain everything to you if you forgive me for what I will do, because as you are hearing this message, I will be taking our mother’s right from Viola Singh Khatri.
