Chapter 19: The ladies of fires and their people [2]

When they arrive at the venue, the scene is lively as is it unbelievably beautiful which made those from Kingdom of Leng watch in amazement. Each of them is looking beautiful in their own special way. One man with an unsmiling face sitting alone by the lake is watching them, his eyes stop at Third Princess Leng Moli and stareS at her for a few minutes before looking away.

Another happy looking guy is laughing as he says, "Langzhu, stop giving such a scary stare towards others people. Greetings, Your Royal Highnesses. Greetings, Imperial General Bing, Lady Meili and Imperial Guard Lengjing."

"Fenghuang! I miss you so much!" Sovereign Princess Long Yinyue suddenly pops out of nowhere together with a smiling Xiao Yu who tried so hard to calm the overly excited girl.

Crown Princess Long Fenghuang smiles at her cousin, "Yinyue, you are looking great as per usual. It must be hard for you, Xiao Yu. My bad..."

Xiao Yu replies with a smile on his lips, "Your Royal Highness, it is my responsibility to stay by her side, but I am forever one of your people."

Sovereign Princess Long Yinyue struggles to free her hand from Xiao Yu's firm grip but to no avail, "Xiao Yu... I want to sit next to Fenghuang. Please..."

"Older cousin... Both sides have already been occupied by Imperial General Bing and Bailu..." Princess Long Hua says in her soft voice with a gentle smile on her lips.

Imperial Inspector Diyu Zhi Huo looks at her as he smiles. He is the almighty and revered Phoenix King and he has completely fallen in love with the younger sister of his mistress. He treated her as a child when they first met, this gentle natured and the soft-spoken girl is, without a doubt, a Long as she forces her way in through his heart. With the support of his mistress, even Emperor Long Feng had to give in and allowed him to be with Princess Long Hua. Her peals of laughter never fail to pull him back whenever he is down.

"Hua’er, come and sit next to me..." He said as he gently pats on the empty space next to him. Princess Long Hua smiles as she gently sits next to her fiancé.

Sovereign Princess Long Yinyue is pouting as she stares at Bailu, "Bailu... Shouldn't you be sitting somewhere else, but there?"

Lianhua laughs as she says, "Don't bother, Your Royal Highness. He just had a fight with Wuya over something so petty."

Imperial General Bing Xiaji look at him and smirks, "A brat will always be a brat."

This has made Bailu look at him angrily.

"Xiaji... Do not tease him. Bailu... Three is a crowd. You better sit somewhere else. Wuya seems a bit sad... Go." Crown Princess Long Fenghuang softly says as she gently pats his hand before her hand is taken away by Imperial General Bing Xiaji.

Bailu stands up and smiles at her before he scowls at Imperial General Bing Xiaji. He then walks to where Ye Wuya is sitting at and sit next to her. Ye Wuya looks at him before she looks away.

Bailu then softly says, "Sorry... It is my fault."

Crown Princess Long Fenghuang smile as she watches the pair. Seeing that she is in a good mood, Imperial General Bing Xiaji gently caress her soft and smooth yet cold cheek.

"Huli, Her Royal Highness seems to be a bit cold. Change her into an appropriate outfit."

Huli looks at him and nodded her head. But as she prepares herself to accompany her mistress. Almost every girl follow suit too. Lady Red stands up as she smiles politely at Princess Long Hua. Lady Meili walk hand in hand with Lady Congming. Chengshi and Lianhua giggling at each other. Xue Fengbao, Ye Wuya, and Xiao Hui Mao follow closely behind too.

As they suddenly vanish from the others' sight. Everyone politely smiles at each other. The ever friendly Zongxiong suddenly starts a conversation to ease the sudden awkward situation.

"This is my first-time meeting with His Highnesses from the Kingdom of Leng. I am Zongxiong, one of the personal guard of Crown Princess Long Fenghuang. This unsmiling guy is Langzhu. This smiling guy is Bai Laohu. This is our leader, Gulong Wang. This wondrous pair is Baise and Heise, they are responsible for the external security. Advisor Xiao Yu used to be one of us, but he is now staying at the Demon Realm to be an advisor. Imperial Inspector Diyu Zhi Huo too used to be one of us."

Yujinxiang smiles and says, "I am Regent Prince Yujinxiang of the Demon Realm. Sovereign Princess Long Yinyue is a cousin of mine. Lady Red will soon be my betrothed."

Imperial General Bing Xiaji smiles and says, "Such confidence, Your Highness..."

Gulong Wang mockingly says, "Both of you are so green when it comes to love."

Captain Ying and the others are just smiling while the ones from the Kingdom of Leng watches in silence. Imperial General Bing Xiaji and Regent Prince Yujinxiang seem familiar with each other while Bailu is sitting near them. First Prince Long Fenge also noticed that though Imperial General Bing Xiaji treated Bailu with disdain, sometimes, he smiles at him and gently pats on his shoulder as the three of them are having a conversation.

Third Princess Leng Moli is having such a mind blown moment when she saw how both are acting with each other, aren't they supposed to be fighting against each other due to that one princess? Both men seem to be in a good relationship even when Imperial General Bing Xiaji keep calling the man in white as 'brat'. The others are looking divine too. What is Crown Princess Long Fenghuang thinking? Building herself a harem full of beautiful men and women? Why Imperial General Bing Xiaji seems to be at ease seeing his fiancée surrounded by all these men? Unbeknownst to her, Langzhu is watching her intently.

He then realizes that someone is watching him and when he looks back, that someone is the young boy, Xue Lipin. Both smile at each other and Xue Lipin even nods his head towards Imperial Guard Lengjing. Do they know each other? But, how could that even be possible? Lengjing has always been by his side not only as his guard but as a mentor and a friend as well.

Second Princess Leng Yueliang looks at her younger sister who is swimming in a pot of vinegar. She does love her but seeing her to bury herself in 'trouble' is another favourite pastimes of hers too. This silly younger sister of hers is too proud for her own good. She then looks at a handsome man sitting by the lake who is staring rather intently at her younger sister. Why is that so? Oh, well. Another interesting thing for her to keep on watching while she is here.

Suddenly, Fourth Prince Leng Yingjun coughs non-stop to a point where he coughs blood which shocks his other royal siblings. Imperial General Bing Xiaji and the others have to stand up to check up on him as First Prince Leng Fenge gently stroke his younger sibling's back. Third Princess Leng Moli by now is crying as she looks at her younger royal brother with Second Princess Leng Yueliang coaxing her to calm down.

Xue Lipin looks at the royal siblings and thought they indeed truly care about each other despite the slight tendency of the older princess having quite a joy to look at her younger sister to suffer a bit. He sincerely hopes that there will be a day where his older sister, Xue Xi Ai, able to acknowledge her biological siblings.

Huli suddenly appears without warning and she calmly kneels next to the coughing prince, "Let me check on him. Monkhbat, carry him back to the palace. Her Royal Highness asked us to let His Royal Highness to rest in the main room at the East Side area.”

A handsome yet large man suddenly walks towards her with a smile on his lips. He carries the sickly prince and walks towards the East Side of Xuehua Palace.

Imperial General Bing then says, "Let us follow them and wait in the waiting hall. I do believe that Her Royal Highness and the others are already there waiting for us."
