Early the following morning chief drove Chinyere and Amanda to Grace and truth School for Amanda to be enrolled. The principal Mr. Pascal welcomed them warmly. He has an impressive performance of over a decade to his name. During his time at the school, he has witnessed the graduation of Chief Magnus' triplets, which has established a strong bond between him and the Magnus family. Seated comfortably behind his desk, Mr. Pascal addresses Chief Magnus and Chinyere, who were seatted opposite him, as he commends the intelligence of the child, highlighting her ability to read and solve arithmetic problems and suggested she starts immediately. Considering the current situation, Chinyere expresses her concerns about the child's readiness for school. As a result, she suggests taking her back home, with the intention of better preparation for tomorrow. In response, the understanding headteacher permits Chinyere's decision, respecting her choice as the parent. Following their conversation, Mr. Pascal kindly escorts Chief Magnus and Chinyere to the parking lot before returning to his office. He holds Chief Magnus in high regard due to his significant contributions to the school, ensuring that his triplets receive special treatment before they graduated. This special treatment, however, had caused jealousy among other students. At 7:30 a.m. the next day, Amanda, decked in a slightly oversized uniform, eagerly assembles with her classmates. After morning prayers, the headteacher delivered a speech to the students, followed by the national anthem. The pupils then proceeded to their respective classes, cheerfully and happily singing a rhyme. "Greetings, auntie! We are delighted to see you. May God bless you," chimed the pupils of the zenith class. "Good morning! You may take your seats. Let us sing a special welcome song for our newest member in this class." As the students sang, some shouted with enthusiasm, while others sang softly or mime the lyrics due to their unfamiliarity. By the end of the school day, Amanda has already made new friends. Engrossed in play with her newfound friends, her class teacher called her, informing her that her parent has arrived for pick-up. Brimming with joy, Amanda bids farewell to her buddies, grasping her backpack tightly. During their walk home, Chinyere engaged in conversation with her child: "Did your first day go well, my dear?" she asks. Amanda responds eagerly, "Yes, mommy! The school is much more beautiful compared to my previous one. I really like it here." she sang the new rhymes she learnt for her mother and even mentioned the names of some of her class mates. In no time they were home as the school is conveniently close to the residence. Chinyere was pleased with her child's response, however she emphasized the importance hardwork.I want you to make mommy proud and daddy will be happy wherever he is "Okay, mommy," Amanda replies happily. Upon reaching home, Amanda takes a bath and eagerly shares her excitement about her new school and friends with anyone who cared. In the subsequent months, she consistently exceled in her studies, attaining top marks in all subjects and distinguishing herself as the top student in her class.
