She enjoys ice cream with the boys and Max. She looks around and senses something strange. "What's wrong, Cha?" He inquired. "We must leave, I sense danger," she replied. Max scanned the area, detecting no signs of danger, so he sniffed the air.
Suddenly, the vampires descended. Cha's speed was incredible. She swiftly defeated them, leaving Max with no chance to intervene. He shielded the boys.
"Hurry, let's go." She carried Reed while Max held the other two. They fled and entered the car, but before Max could drive away, he was yanked out of the car. "Leave, Chaya."
She didn't and exited the vehicle. The guy who had him by the neck looked at her. He uttered words before dropping Max. "What did he mean by 'beloved'?" she asked him while helping him up.
On their way home, he suggested asking his father for clarification. Returning home, they quickly unbuckled the boys from their seats and the boys ran into the house sharing the incident with confused family members. Elza inspected them for marks.
"Who would dare attack you, Max?" Victor inquired.
"Marcel, take the boys for ice cream."
"Grandpa, we need to know who those bad guys are," Reid stated. To ensure the safety of our mother. That baddy called my mummy beloved."
Oliver, Victor, Kavin, and Elza stare at her. Elza glanced at him as she said, 'Max, who...' "It was a purist Aunt Elza."
"What's a purist? You're scaring me." Chaya scowled
"Tell us what happened." She sighed and explained, confirmed by Maxi.
"I begged her to go but she never listens." She pokes his chest. "you expect me to let that guy kill you how would I live with myself my boys—would think I am a coward?”
"He just left you." They nodded, "More like dropped me on my ass after staring at Chaya. "After uttering those words, he quickly disappeared."
"Who were those people?" Elza paused, then replied, "They are vampires."
"No wonder - they smell strange and have slow heartbeats," she added, raising an eyebrow.
"You were able to sense them, Cupcake," Kavin exclaimed. She made a shrugging motion. Max confirms that “she did, and I couldn't even catch a whiff of them."
"Oliver insists that nobody will share this beyond this room. "Chaya and the boys must be kept safe as they are special and unique."
"I don't need to be looked after like a baby," pouted Chaya.
Max laughed and said, "Just look at your face."
Everyone burst into laughter together.
