Victor, Max, Kavin, Sierra, and their escorts reached the sacred grounds. He glanced at Councilman Leads, questioning, " You think this will prevent me from tearing out that mutt's heart?"
Leads moved a couple of paces backwards. “Alpha Victor, we need your assistance.” His voice shaking. He scoffed and departed, leaving Leads standing.
Max observed Ashton expressing admiration for meeting his idol. He approached Max but was prevented by the guard.
Dean, Dominik, Bailey, and Nova entered. Victor struggled to maintain control over Bein, compelled to advance.
"Alpha Victor it's...” He glanced at them and engaged in conversation with someone else. Kevin and Max were having the same problems.
Dominik felt the hostility. The meeting commenced as they took a seat. During the meeting, Oliver urgently approached Victor.
Without a word, they got up and left. councilman Leads apologized, noting an emergency.
"I propose we postpone the meeting as we're aware of The Shadow Viper Pack's superiority in attack planning.” Oliver refrained from speaking as he shifted his gaze from Dominik to Bailey.
Dean stopped him as he was leaving. "Councilman Oliver, may we talk privately?" He stared at him. "Speak.” He was surprised by his indifference towards them. They all entered his office. His phone rang as he sat down. Sierra required his presence.
"Councilman Oliver, w—" Dominik was interrupted. Due to an emergency, Oliver had to leave. He rose, departed, and called upon four council elders. Dominik saw Alarik, Bovin, Caldon, and Ehsan leaving with him. He was aware of a major event unfolding. His gaze meets Dean's. Dominik shakes his head. "Not about vampires, it's personal."
"What do I say to Ashley about the mating—” while speaking Bailey dropped to his knees howling in pain.
The screams drew everyone's attention. They tried to help him, but their efforts were futile. The council doctor had to sedate him.

“ His bond with the future Luna isn't finished," Dominik uttered.
"That's what I perceive. Rudina's actions may have fatal consequences for his wolf.”
Silence filled the room. “Whose Rudina and what actions can we take to prevent this?” Nova question.
“ The first part of your question I can't answer but his survival hinges on his wolf's life. Regrettably, there's no solution available for him," she sighed and continued. “Seek the moon goddess's counsel—”
she abruptly distanced herself from them. "What's the matter, Doc? Why..." her gaze shifted towards them. "The... Alpha Dean and you Alpha Dominik have... ...the moon goddess," her voice faded as she glanced in Bailey's direction. “He carries the black mark.”
