Oliver the head of the council stopped abruptly upon seeing her. The others were curious about his reaction. "This is impossible. She’s still alive after what Dominik's boy did to her.” Victor tensed upon hearing that. “Councilman Oliver, could you... explain.”

"Okay, let's go to your office," he said as Victor led the way.

"What is her relationship to you, and are you aware that she's human?" Victor's eyes turned icy in an instant. Oliver was surprised by Victor's hostility, as he said, “That human is my daughter, Councilman Oliver, and I won't tolerate you..” He became pale upon realizing that she was the princess he mentioned.

“I'll inform them to send the file for you to view,” Victor became furious upon seeing the file he was about to shift.

Chaya heard the commotion and sprinted to his office witnessing their attempt to restrain him.

"Don't, you'll harm him."

"Stay away Cupcake, Bien might harm you," Kavin shouted.

She refused and went to Bein. They feared Bein might harm her as he was unfamiliar with her.

She embraced his sturdy neck, pleading, "Blein, please relax." He gazed downward and playfully licked her face.

Kavin and the others backed off due to his growling. She touched his fur and exclaimed, “Uncle V, you feel so soft!” Elza laughed and pointed out, 'Chaya, that's a beast, you are petting..”

"I love Bein too he's handsome.” Bein purred like a cat as she rubbed his head, surprising everyone who witnessed his unexpected reaction towards her. They all nodded, acknowledging that Bein and Victor shared the same affection for Cupcake. "s**t she tamed Bein within a few minutes.” Kavin spat out.

She gave Max and Kavin an angry look, saying "You should've told me." Max blamed his father for keeping it a secret while she glanced at Bein who was still licking her.

She moved her attention from the guys to the man who was quiet the whole time. "I am Councilman Oliver, the council's leader. I was the one looking into your case when you suddenly disappeared,"

Bein growled loudly. “Bein, I'm fine.” she reassured him.

“So Uncle Kavin is the Beta and Max is the upcoming Alpha. And you Elza?"

"My mate was Victor's brother," Elza says, her gaze shifting between him and her. "The pack..."

"The Shadow Viper Pack." She was amazed.

"People fear you, you know?"

"Yes, because of this hellish beast."
