Chaya put the boys to bed and was working on her laptop. At the sound of footsteps, she initially mistook them for Rico's. Upon hearing an unfamiliar voice, accusing her of lying about being raped, calling her a w***e and accusing her of planning to gain profits, she stepped back upon seeing his glowing eyes, causing her entire body to tremble, and with each subsequent movement he made, she began to hyperventilate. His voice grew deep as his nostrils flared. “Answer me, you human slut.” “N… No…" Tears running down her face. When he grabbed her, she let out a primal scream. Ashton's anger faded, and then he was forcefully thrown across the floor. It was chaos. Chaya screamed, not wanting anyone near her. The boys weep due to their mother.

Kay, Rico, and Dominik prevented Bailey from tearing Ashton apart. It was exacerbated due to the growling and yelling. Nova shouted, "Bailey, cease your roaring immediately, as it is causing further harm".

“Mommy.” Nova, we're holding the boys.

Orion escaped their grip and approached her while she remained bundled up and screaming. She resisted, but he caught her and secured her tightly to his chest. He sits down, drinks his coffee, and exclaims, "My puppies are truly remarkable!” they nod in agreement.

“ I'll wait a few days — then I'll speak to her,” Dominik said.

The room became quiet after Dominik spoke. Everyone gawked at him, as though he had grown a second head. “Tomorrow, Nova and Rico—you’ll accompany them to my house. "I'll feel reassured when I know they're safe."

"Yes, Alpha," they chorused.

"Please escort me home, Rico," Nova requested. He complied.
