Fallon’s smile faded as she saw Henry.
He ignored her as his gaze narrowed on his subordinates.
“Is this a circus now? What's with all the noise?” he snapped.
The team lead moved closer to him. “Manager, we just had a better idea for Ascension. Actually…” he pointed at Adrian with a sheepish look, “It was this man who…”
Henry turned just then to see Adrian.
His face darkened as he remembered the humiliation he had suffered in front of the board members because of him.
“You!” He spat with enough venom to shut the team lead up.
Henry still could not believe his luck. When young master Scott had told him this know-it-all would be coming to this department, Henry had been doubtful.
After all, he had sat with the board like he owned the place. Why would someone like him be an intern?
