I'm now in front of the door of the MESL headquarters.

Should I go? Or not? I mean I do not know how and what are the responsibilities of being a third year governor.

That is right! I know nothing in this position 

I was about to leave when the door suddenly opened and I was so shocked as I see that it is  Ms. Yaem who opened that door.

“Hi, are you an applicant for the position of third year’s governor?” Ms. Yaem asked me

“Ah, hehe I guess I am?” I replied.

“ Come on, don’t be afraid, we won't bite you, okay? Here is the application form as well as the requirements for the position, make sure to passed it tomorrow afternoon” Ms. Yaem said.

“Yes master” - ja

After that, I head to our building department. My class is in room ME 405. I used the stairs since I still have a lot of time before my class and I’m afraid to see that man whom I met earlier again in the elevator.

I wonder what department that guy belongs to.

Ringggg ringgg ( phone ringing)

I woke up because of the noise of my phone.

“Hello?” 

“ ishan! Where are you?” - oh it is Yaem, why would she call me in the middle of the night?

“ Yaem, I did not know you do have so much time to call me in the middle of the night  but please let me sleep”  I replied.

“ middle of the night? For your information Mr. Christian Lheeron Cuanco, it is already eight o’clock in the morning!” Yaem said

Eight o’clock? I immediately woke up in my bed and pull off the curtain

“ shocks!” I exclaimed

“Why? What is wrong? Do not tell me you are still in your hometown?”- Yaem

“ Well, I am” -Ishan

“Seriously Ishan! What should we do? Did you forget that we do need to make rounds today to find the new third year governor? Allan would be leaving next week, we do need to find the replacement officer as the 50th year of MESL will be held next month, it is already hard for us to organize that event and it would be much harder if we will not find an immediate replacement officer for Allan” -Yaem

“ I know Yaem, do not worry I Will be there by noon, for now, please do the rounds with the rest of the officers” I replied to Yaem while preparing my clothes.

“ make sure that you will be here by noon, Do not forget that we do still have a meeting with the Department Chair in the afternoon” -Yaem

“Yes, yes do not worry, I’ll be there” I said to Yaem before she ended the call.

I immediately took a shower and got my belongings. I checked my room if I already turned off all of the appliances before I went downstairs.

“ Mom, I need to go”

“Wait what? You have not eaten anything, why are you in a hurry? " My mom asked me.

“ I forgot to set an alarm last night, I need to be in school early, but since I woke up late, Yaem are expecting me to be in school by noon, I need to leave now “ I answered as I get the car key at the back door.

“ how about breakfast?”- Mom

“ Maybe I will just stop by on the drive thru's, I'm sorry mom, I need to leave, bye”  I told my mom while hugging her.

“ I see, be careful on your way, do not forget your meals” - Mom

“ Yes mom” I replied to Mom before I entered my car and left.

Oh right, I have not introduced myself to you right?

Hi. I’m Christian Lheenor Cuanco, a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student  in Optimum University. I’m the current Vice President of the Mechanical Engineering Student League or the MESL.

I’m not that sociable type of person but I do have some loyal friends, Yaem is one of them , they called me Ishan as my nickname and only those who are close with me can call me by that name. Why do I need to leave home early when in fact I need to be in school by noon? Well Optimum University is located in Batangas while my hometown, Rizal Province is three to four hours away from the university. At the same time, I do rent an apartment near my University as it is a hassle if I always need to drive a three to four hour trip just to go to school. 

It is already 11:30 when I arrived at school, I immediately run towards the College of Engineering, Architecture  and Fine Arts building as Yaem told me that they are in the room ME 310. When I'm already in the room ME 310, there is no people in that room, then I called Yaem.

" Hello Ishan, are you already here in the University?" Yaem asked

"Well, Yes I am , you said you are in room ME 310, but no one is here" I replied

" Really? actually we are now heading to our headquarters , just follow us here , we do still have time before our meeting with the Department Chair" -Yaem.

" okay fine, I will be there in a minute" I said to Yaem before I ended the call.

I immediately run towards the elevator as I see it closing slowly, luckily I manage to stop the door of the elevator closing but I got shock as I heard a load fart inside the elevator, then I saw a little girl inside the elevator . She is also look shocked of what happened, maybe she did not expect that I will enter the elevator.

out of awkwardness, I pretend nothing happened and enter in the elevator, I stand beside her and press the button for the ground floor. I looked at the little girl beside me and I can see that she is not comfortable.

Is she okay? she looks so pale, Maybe she is embarrassed of what happened, 

I was about to tap her and asked if she is okay when the elevator suddenly opened and we are already in the second floor when she hurriedly ran away from the elevator and drop a key chain from her bag.

I was about to tell her about the key chain she dropped but it is too late as the elevator are already closed

I decided to keep the key chain in my pocket.

I will just give it to her when we meet.
