Thank the goddess the meeting was finally over. I hated leaving Maia alone. I didn't want to leave her alone but she insisted that'd go, although I did leave my two best soldiers guarding her. I was still worried.
I couldn't help thinking about how bad the meeting had gone. It was being held near the woods as to not attract any attention from humans.Vampires were attacking every other pack and the other Alpha's were all sick of them. They didn't know where the great number of them where coming from so I had to tell to them about Justin trying not to mention my mate. I would never risk my mates safety. What if there was someone who would try to hurt her in order to chase the vampires away, you could never be too careful.
