Dunn ignored the questioning looks from the rest of the team as they drove across town to the Falls Observation Tower. They needed to get their heads on straight, so even though they all wanted to know what was going on, he wasn’t about to get into it. Not on a ten minute drive.
Dunn parked at the visitors center and checked his weapon before he got out of the SUV. They didn’t want to scare the casual observer so they were dressed in street clothes, but all of them had at least three weapons on them at any given time.
They met on the sidewalk and headed toward the Observation Tower. Dunn, Jack, and Slade went straight toward the tower, but Dex, Rocky, Archer, and English hung back. There were too many paths for them to risk letting either man escape.
