Dex finally moved the meeting back to the conversation at hand, and they all approved his plans for Kate Maddox. When the rest of them left the room, he took a seat next to Dunn.
“Can you handle all this?” Dex asked.
“All what?”
“Williams, Ashleigh, and Kate Maddox? It’s a lot if it’s just one,” Dex said.
Dunn nodded. “I got it.” He stood and picked up his notepad.
“Let me take Kate Maddox.”
“You know she’s getting married,” Dunn said.
Dex rolled his eyes. “I’m not trying to get into her pants. Just because the rest of you got involved with the client doesn’t mean I’m going to.”
“I’m not involved with her,” Dunn argued.
“Could have fooled me,” Dex said, walking away.
