For the next two days, everything was quiet. Too f*****g quiet. It was driving Dunn crazy because he knew things were happening, he just didn’t know what they were.
English had a trace running on Frederick’s phone constantly, but it never turned up anything. He had to have high-tech software that prevented them from finding out anything. They had access to his phone records, but the number Williams used to call him was a burner phone that was ditched.
Everyone was on edge. Dex said nothing was happening with the newlyweds, but with the threats in the area, it was going to be all hands on deck for the concert that night.
“Lily, Pilar, Kelsea, and Jaymes have tickets. They were planning to go to the show,” Archer told Dunn that morning. “They want to know if they can still go.”
