Dunn watched Ashleigh walk away with a heavy feeling in his gut. Nothing about the evening was right. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but nothing was right.
“You gonna be okay?” English asked.
Dunn shook off the feeling and nodded. “Yep, let’s go.”
They followed the path from the storage room to the dressing room Kate Maddox was using. Two hired guards were standing outside the door. They nodded at English and Dunn as they walked by. Dunn wanted to check the path from the dressing room to the stage, so they followed the corridors until they ended up under the stage where Kate was going to wait until she was lifted up.
